Wheels for a Teal Ty? Now With PIC'S

Ok it's about time to junk these ugly ass POS white 5 stars that were on my Ty when I got it, problem is I can't decide on what to get. The color is my problem because when I picture my Teal/Teal Ty, nothing strikes me as "right". So...... any opinions on color or pic's would be great! I got an great set of stock wheels for the Green Dots and I wanna go 17 or 18 for the daily drive . Style..... not that big a deal but the wheel finish, chrome/polished, silver, black, gunmetal, argent????

I think the only way to go on a teal/teal is chrome/polished. Nothing else will look very good IMO. :2cents:

I think Graphite Gray ZR-1's would look good, maybe black Grand Sports from the 96' Vette.

I thought about that because I really don't care for the color all that much :roll: but the truck is low miles, paint is in good shape, teal is not the easiest color to find (like only 30 or so made according to some some?) and this one is Teal/Teal with some as of yet unverifed special order history according to Marty and Merk due to the orig. owner being a GM Asia Exec. bigwig. I'm thinking a color change may be a bad thing, value wise.

I'll check those out. I was also maybe thinking "black chrome"? What do you think? It's black, it's shinny? I dono? No one has any pic's of Teals with other wheels?

I had my ZR-1's powercoated in black chrome, it matches the Argent Gray cladding on mine, looks good. Your idea about having them chromed in black is what I want to do when I get my Ty re-sprayed.

I agree with the graphite zr1's.. I can't think of a color rim that would look good with a teal/teal and because of that I would look into polished or chrome wheels if not graphite imo

These are 17x9.5 & 17x11 Black Chrome

These are 18x9.5 & 18x10.5 Chrome and I can get them in Black Chrome

18x9.5 only and can be Black Chromed

18x9.5 & 18x10.5 Chromed and can be Black Chromed

Let the games begin! So which and what finish? I looked at the Gunmetal ZR1's but...... Teal/Teal Damn I hate this color!
