It started at midnight in the past but now they start at 9:00 pm. There will be lots of locals to beat up on. I havent been this year but last year it was heads up and the didnt show anybody's times. Its supposed to be like street racing. There are a few 5 - 6 sec 1/8th mile cars that show up but most of the cars run 8's or slower. We would have to do that on the 11th because they have the "Southern Survival Shootout" the weekend of the 5th.

Oh yeah....I forgot about that. So August 11th-12th is looking more like the date. We'll see what Jeremy says.

Cool! Aug. 11th at Music City Raceway for some beating of the locals and Aug. 12 for burgers and BS at my house. :tup:

The 11th I can prob show up for a bit...I have to work on the 12th (yuck) so can't make it too late of a night...Depending on how late you all are up at your place on the 12th, I may be able to show up after work (8pm).

It would be cool if you can. I want to see what the Indy decals look like in person. Its about a 4.5 - 5 hour drive.

Note to self: Don't take any vehicle to where Jimmy took his truck.
Don't feel bad...I had a car wreck once and it took the body shop 3 MONTHS and 5 days before I had it back...Of course, it was quite more of a significant hit, but it still sucks being without wheels and stuck with a rental (Which my boss at the time was kind enough to pay for after insurance stopped after 30 days).
Anyways, sorry haven't been around much guys but my work is freakin' killing me. Plus July will be my 1 year "anniversary" here...oh, and we just launched a website so I get to be the one to admin it. Fun Fun. Haven't had time to do anything recently...
Anyways, like I said before, I am in if the time all works out...Whatever happened to the Bellevue drive in?
OOOHH, by the way, I will actually be off work July 14th/15th (Going to the Indy Race at the Speedway). Anyone else going by chance?
Should have mentioned that earlier....Don't know if any of you guys even like Indy car...but next year we should plan ahead of time and rent an RV or two or three and spend the whole weekend out there. :tup:

The JSM crew, Jimmy (with or without his Ty), tnsyty, jabberwalk, T-Bone (as long as his work schedule lets him), SonomaGTlover (work schedule too), WTBSYTY, and of course the Keller crew. Im still waiting to hear back from some people. I know Jamie & Holli will come if I can get in contact with them. I have three more local "maybe" people too.
