Syclone update....I drove the "stepchild" this morning and I stopped to get some gas. Im standing there and some redneck says "yur radiator's leaking". So I looked and theres a huge puddle of water sitting under the front. The intercooler took a dump. Next he said " you ant makin it far today" I said "its not my radiator so i'll be fine" he then continued trying to argue with me about it. What an idiot. :roll:

We should start a list of quotes heard while driving syty's.

The other week, a guy yelled to us we were on fire.

Couple years ago we were dialing in a chip that was WAY off. Guy drove by and told us the choke was stuck.

Ironically the choke is stuck comment came from teh same truck your tuning on the way to TN......I hate when that happens.

I told the guy it was the intercooler leaking.....I couldve told him something in chinese and it wouldve been the same reaction. I got the "duuhhh" look. :lol:

Damn, I wish I could make the trip but work just wouldn't budge. I'm off for a tuning session Sunday if I can get ALDL working on my laptop. I finally got it to connect after $95 of cables and such but still no data coming in. Craig M, Paul S and Mark M are all working with me on it but they seem to think you are the man to talk to. No biggie, I've almost got it figured out. At least it's conecting now.

Anyway, I was hoping to be able to hand you the decals in person but since I can't make it I'll have to USPS them. I'll get them packaged up after the weekend.

I just ran the Sy through emissions testing and it failed pretty bad. It has the stock fp regulator and injectors and new plugs/cap/rotor/O2. Im scratching my head. Could the Conley Mag. chip make that big of a differance? Im thinking it may be a vacume line routed wrong of something. :dunno:

Joe, I was thinking of calling off work Fri and joining you all at the track and a few hours Saturday. I'm gonna be one tired dude if I make the 4+ hour trip home and work all night. Still up in the air but don't be expectin me. I have to be in Terre Haute Sunday morning so sleep will be a necessity.

Should be a great time at the track. The president of one of the local mustang clubs (who happens to work with me) overheard me talking about the get together Fri. night at the track. He and some of the members are planning to be there with their cars. At least at the dinner there will be food on the plate!

seriously, this is not set in stone, but, i think we're leaving from the Athens, AL Walmart at ~6pm. we'll probably stop by the hotel and get checked in and head to the track. you're more than welcome to follow/lead us up.

You're publically letting everyone know you aren't that smart...a 10' chain hooked to my front axle (which doesn't exist so for sake of sense, we'll say sway-bar) and your rear frame would shorten the chain length between the vehicles to about 7', therefore I would be closer than you propose at the finish (HAHA - HEEHEE - HAHA). I like your theory though because it is a sure win for you, not to mention about the only way you'd be in front at the finish laser. On a side note, does this mean you're going??
