Where is T-bone?

Re: Where is T-bone?

It was no joke and that thread did what it was meant too and that was to get rid of t-bone.

it WAS a joke. There is no doubt about that. There was no conspiracy to get rid of T-Bone. He just couldn't take a joke...mostly becuase it was at a tail end of some bickering that already had him fuming...and this was just the last straw.

It was deeper than a joke. A joke is when other people outside the joke dont understand. This made t-bone look like a dick and that is not a joke.

And if if was a big joke gone wrong why has no one said it was them?. Could it be they realize a lot of people would think they are dicks.

maybe in the UK...but here in states it was a joke/prank/etc. The intention was to stir up peoples (not tbones) emotions that one of their blessed favorite one-ever trucks was possibly going to be parted out.

It was admitted that it was not the "real" tbone almost immediately....and 50% of the people that read the thread realized it was a joke instantly upon reading it anyway. Plus anyone that has a clue about the trucks itself would have realized that the thing is worth more money in its entirity than in pieces.

sure it went a little far...but the fake t-bone if i recall didn't keep posting in the thread either...so it was the forum that went off. 1 fake user sparked a debate...but that fake user wasn't what came crashing down on t-bone.

Re: Where is T-bone?

it went a little far i think

Yes, I agree

I think there's already enough crap happening in the world that extra *&#! like this just makes it less fun and harder to keep going.

I just talked with my neighbor.... he's REALLY big into snow machines.... 800cc and higher sleds that make sick HP. He's parting out his 2009 Polaris 800cc xxx whatever-the-name-is because he can get more money to put towards his next 2010 1000cc whatever it is.... he's the greatest guy in the world.... even though I'm sure there are some guys out there calling him a d*&k for doing it.... sure, it's not the same as parting out a Sy or a Ty, but same philosophy.

It seems that a lot of the details concerning the goings on on forums like this are semi-secret because a lot of stuff is done via phone calls, emails, etc. If someone has done something categorically, morally wrong then fine, call them out for it and let them respond (but you'd better do it to their face first!). But if someone is being lambasted just because of a personal grudge, testosterone overload, 'I think you slept with my wife' sort of thing, then it should be kept to PMs, emails, etc. ..... otherwise it's slander, and just wrong.

Sometimes I wonder if people really know what it means anymore to be a 'gentleman'.... there's a certain moral fiber associated with having he honor to be called such.....

.... and why am I on such a f'ing rant tonight?? Because my Uncle, who served a tour in the Korean War and two tours in Vietnam passed away this week - 75 years young, a real Gentleman, and taken WAY before his time.... he was a decorated hero, and reminds me that life is too short for all the BS that people stir up just to try and get a 'rise' out of someone... or to get even.... ARGGHHHHH!

Re: Where is T-bone?

T-Bone just couldn't stand being the butt of the joke, plain and simple. It was the perfect set-up, though. He liked to part out trucks to fatten his wallet...A super-duper-rare truck was coming up for sale. Put 2 and 2 together and you have an awesome joke that would have probably been taken in stride by anyone else here.

It was too good of an oppurtunity to pass up and I still think it was jeffin funny.

Re: Where is T-bone?

sorry for your loss, the good always die young.

but just to clarify, snow machines are used at ski hills to make snow , you ride a 800cc snowmobile.

Not in Wyoming.... we call them 'sleds' out here.... or 'snow machines' after 3 glasses of wine :D you can put color in them can make slushies out them too!

Are you guys all really that bored to keep this high school jackass poor me, love/hate relationship with tbone. MOVE ON...... ya'll are men act like it!

Re: Where is T-bone?

Yeah, but those parts came at some cost to the SyTy's community. Parting out a truck because he could sell them for more money, or swapping out parts on low mileage truck because he could get more money. He did a disservice to the 2 low mileage Syclone's that he bought/sold off when he was swapping out the original wheels/seats (and who really know what else). I am sure he never told those owners what he swapped out. We do not need any shady dishonest owners. Money and his wallet was his 1st priority only priorty when it came SyTy's.

He wore his welcome out with Porsche's, before he was into SyTy's. I assume he is in the Corvette community, if he get caught trying to pull fast one's ob them, they will run him out as well

It was a shame about the parts swapping on his super low mile trucks for whoever got them. But I'm alright with it, I got a new set of seats in my truck out of the deal. I guess some poor guy out there is wondering why his seats look like they have a lot more than a couple thousand miles on them.

Here is my opinion, and I only base this on my dealings with the guy. I may be totally wrong, but like I said, just my opinion.

T-Bag was a narcissistic,condescending,egotistical douchebag.

That is all. (Oh and I don't miss him. I pity the fool.)

Re: Where is T-bone?

Like him or hate him, he bought the truck, now he can part it out or set it on fire for all that matters. It is his money and his truck to do with as he pleases. It might be a rare truck, but it is still his.
