Re: Where is T-bone?

If you haven't met the guy,you just don't know.

He wasn't a douchebag for parting trucks,he was just a douchebag.

It's that simple.

Re: Where is T-bone?

Although I don't know T-Bone, I have delt with him and I do own one of his super low milage trucks.
I have to say I could not be happier with it. It is immaculate throughout (interior still smells factory new), and I did get all of the original parts that had been upgraded by the previous owner.
I didn't buy the truck from him, but he was helpful when I inquired about it, and offered assistance if or when required.
As for parting things out, my Sy does not appear to have been tempered with, and I must agree that if someone owns something they are more than welcome to do what ever they like with it. I am sure if offered very low milage parts people would more than lap them up to improve their own rides. I know I would.
Just my 2 cents

I know for a fact that stock takeoff parts from your truck were sold.

Hell,I went and looked at them and advised T-Bag on their value.

Any stock parts you got were off of other trucks,

Let me ask you this: I seem to recall him telling me aboot replacing the HD propshaft in your truck with a stocker? What propshaft is on your truck?

Re: Where is T-bone?

Thanks Kyle, for the phonecall and heads up about all this. I vowed to not come on here but you all need to hear the truth instead of lies by Jimmy.

No seats were ever removed from low mileage trucks. Don't know where that came from! Mr. Young, the seats in your truck were bought by me from Doc Hoover. They had less than 500 miles use according to him and looked like it so I bought them. The set in my Proto Sy came from Henry in Minnesota for $600. I bought a low mileage Syclone (119 miles) and sold it to a collector a year later with low miles (239). Trust me, he had a personal hired inspector clear it before transfer of any funds.

The truck I owned (2270) that is now in Australia was never tampered with. It came with chrome stockers and drag radials and I bought the MINT stock wheels with stock tires for an extra $1,000. They were put on the truck and the chrome wheels sold to a forum member accross the ocean. The drag radials were virtually given away to a forum member on the west coast. The few parts Jimmy advised me on valuations were parts I bought from Doc Hoover. I can name each one of them, if need be. #2270 did have a HD propshaft that was rubbing a brace underneath and screeching under boost. I took it off and put Doc Hoovers 500 mile stock one in it that cleared the brace. That is the ONLY statement of truth from Jimmy.

Bottom line is Jimmy has been fed dinner at my house, my wife has babysit his son, Tyler for free, Jimmy has received Typhoon related parts for FREE from me to help him out, yada-yada.....I guess if that makes a man a douchebag, I am one.

The truth is HE started a mimic thread using a look-alike user name. Anybody ever wonder why someone half blind is the only one to notice a missing space in the mysterious user name????? I had the sending server traced to Clarksville and correspondence between him and some Admin/Moderators regarding the thread surfaced as well.

I just don't have time for the nonsense. Still love Sy's, Ty's and SGT's but enough was enough. I have bent over backward to be a friend and that is what I got in return. He just isn't mature enough to admit his error. Some of you guys have stayed in touch and I hope I have been a help and will continue to where and when I can.

Lastly, there are some on here who have taken parts from my place to the tune of $1,000 + and still owe me. Have I made a stink of it? No....and it has been close to a year. Not everything I do is for the money. All I own is mine free and clear and I have investments set aside to own whatever I would desire so I never tried to put the twist on anyone and make money off of these trucks. There are much easier ways to make a profit if that was the goal, trust me.

Hope that clears the air somewhat.

That is a 100% Lie. Every Admin's/Moderator know who was involved and it wasn't Jimmy. We all know you are lying. Your a pastor right? Last I looked the Bible doesn't say 'do as I say, not as I do' You should be embarassed, we all have 100% proof you are a lying fraud.

The person who did it, volunteered to come forward publicly and it was intended to be just a prank.

I posted in original thread shaun it was me.

I also posted in original threads if this site was to be a room for of guys dressed up trying to be proper, make sure no wrinkles in the dress pants they are not comfortable wearing to begin with I would not be here.

I am here as are most people to put a smile on my face, this site is more than just a bunch of nerds who own the same truck.

Anybody that thought buying a 1 off, never could be duplicated, GM historical vehicle and part it out for profit needs to stop smoking the crack pipe. Let alone buy this said vehicle at a site such as Barret Jackson.

Loosen up guys, smile and enjoy life. Life surely isn't about the destination we will all reach but the journey.

Re: Where is T-bone?

It wouldn't have been as bad if moderators hadn't been involved.... makes me not trust the site, to some degree, when it comes to 'issues'.

Really, all that would have to happen for all this to get cleared up is for the guy who did it, and his mod buddy, to come out and say "sorry, we screwed up and took this one too far".

I wasn't real happy because I got sucked into it and went through the hassle of registering with BJ to try and save it, if facts got presented that it was going to get 'parted'.

Sounds like Jimmy and T-Bone have some issues, but that's for them to discuss in private.

What don't you trust here, i don't think you keep your bank account or SSN stored on the site.

Mods had very little to do with this prank. This one lined up almost perfectly and I guess some would think it got out of hand. As stated T-Bones personal account was never hacked, looked at, exposed, nadda.

Jimmy was just as much of a viewer and had no clue of what was up just like everybody else.

BTW I am not a mod, have not been for few years.

Re: Where is T-bone?

many 'similar' accounts have been made throughout the years...and pretty much always has been for fun/prank...to pick on a noob...or a noob trying to get "revenge"....and more. its all in good spirits most of the time...as was this incident.

as far as mod involvement...it was asked if we thought it was funny and if it would be ok to do so - of the few people that knew it was going to happen, no one thought anythng of it....esp never thought it'd cuase someone to vow to never come back to the site. as childish as the prank seems....how childish is a statement/action like that?

if everyone just signed off whenever they were picked on, the board would be empty. hell look at my screenname. think i requested it to say muffins?

Re: Where is T-bone?

To those of you guys that were really upset about the "joke", why even bother reading in to it if it upsets you to the point that you get angry, untrusting or whatever. Life IS too short for bullshit but sometimes you have to learn to pick and choose your battles. Its like any other part of life. I can name you plenty things that can get me pretty fired up but for the most part I keep my cool and if I think something is going to get me going or get me in to a pissing match with somebody, I think about it first. Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion about what he did to the trucks and ultimately at the end of the day it is his choice. I see good points from both sides. As far as how far the joke went and the secrecy of it all well, that's just the way it is around here and has been since I can remember. Hell, look under my user name, I didn't put that there. Betcha 10 bucks if I tried to change it it would end up there again. But that's just one of those things I choose to let go of. Who really cares. As long as the SYTY mafia doesn't end up in my house while I'm sleeping its all good around here to me.

Shaun, "packing up" and leaving says a lot about your character IMO. Why would anyone let someone else keep you from doing things you want to do? I'd bet if there was a poll, 40%+ people on here would probably say I'm a douche bag but I wouldn't let them run me out. Hell, I'd of stuck around just to spite. Some of you say life is too short for bullshit, I say life is too short to let things control your emotions and actions.:2cents:

What kind of personal life does one have to allow the internet to get them all ruffled up ? Isnt this supposed to be the escape from reality ?
