Which size injectors?

Vortec Heads Worked over bigger valves etc.
Pro Mag Roller Rockers
Holley Commander 950 Stand Alone
Custom Grind Comp Cam (2500-5500)
Stock Manifolds
PTE T66 w/ highflow upgrade
Edelbrock 2114 Intake Converted to MPFI
LS1 80MM tb

I'm trying to decide what size injectors I'll need? One of my buddy said 65lb hr's and the other says 50lb hrs?

50's should be ok. But if you really start to push the truck, you might run out of fuel. Then you will have to have your ecm reworkes to drive larger injectors. That is a stout build you have. might just want to go with bigger injectors right off the bat. Nolan can hook you up with 96 lbs injectors, then you wouldn't run out of injector.

how much boost are you going to run? what kind of IC do you have? how many rpm's ar eyou going to turn? whats your fuel system status. I would run 50's if you dont plan on pushing more than 400hp. but if you want more then 84's or 96's might be needed. not sure what your holley can handle but might wanna find out first before you buy something it wont work with.

Dang I didnt think I needed that big!

The fuel system is a Jaz Cell with an Aeromotive A1000 Fuel Pump. The intercooler is a custom unit 27x12.5x3.5 infront of the radiator. I beleive it was rated to 800hp? But I forgot to mention I'm also running alky/water injection!

The truck isnt running yet....... But coming together quiet well.

I'm not sure on the boost yet since I havnt dynoed it yet but the goal area is around 550rwhp. So I would need 84lb hr injectors or could I get away with 65's? Is it bad to have to large of injectors?

The thing you guys are gonna like the most...........the trans is a viper spec T56

74's would be safe with that goal.
