Not daily driving but I do make an effort to drive it. If I'm going to run to the bank on a Saturday or go get coffee ill drive it. Too many trucks on jackstands. Motivates me not to get all out of control with the mods.
Once I can get all the quirks out I plan on dd'ing the shit out of my truck. Why not. Shes not a track truck. Shes not a sub 30k mile truck. Its not 100% Didnt buy it to watch it hold down my garage.
i daily drove mine for about 2 years when i first got it, then i picked up a DD for better mileage and to keep the miles off my Ty, but I could have continued rocking it as a daily if I wanted
I drive mine mainly on weekends if its nice out, occasionally to car shows during week. Drove it once to work in 8 months I been there since its a 45 min drive and I haven't built enough trust yet for longer trips.
I don't. I keep thinking about it, but I don't want to put that kind of mileage on it...about 80 a day, 5 days a week. If I ever kill my crew cab S-10, I guess I will have to though. My regular cab S-10 wouldn't be the best thing for a car seat.
My Ty used to be a DD for 16 years when my dad owned it. Now since I have more mods on it, it's not too fuel friendly. So it's now a nice weather/car show truck.
My Ty is a nice day daily driver. For foul weather I have another car to drive, or when I have to go somewhere it would be parked in a "questionable" area. The Sy is a garage queen, only goes out to meets, car shows and the track.
yea im gonna be looking for something. really shitty part is i have all these parts lined up for mods, but cant risk doing them now with no dd to fall back on if it does not all get completed
