seems Friday & Sat night is not a problem, even for the $69 / night rate, but Thursday seems to be a problem at the moment.

I dunno if its my charming voice or what, but after a little time on hold and a little chatting with the woman on the other end, I was able to get a room for Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights for the group rate of $69/night + tax. The only thing she couldnt promise me was a king size bed

For anyone else who happens to possibly CANCEL a reservation in the future, I suggest you post it on the board before you do that and give someone else a chance take over your reservation since they are indeed getting a little tight.
The only good thing about this is, NATS ARE GONNA ROCK!!!! :drinking:

My chances of making NATS are about %20 of being able to go so chances are I won't due to about a million things! If anyone is going to NATS from the Texas area or any point that will pass thru me, would you mind taking my Sony Camcorder and do a little NATS filming for me??? Rudy?
If anyone has any difficulty with the hotel please contact me as I set up the contract.
We did not anticipate a large number of people booking on Thursday night so we did not reserve a large number of rooms as we would be financially responsible for unsold rooms.
The hotel is supposed to honor the room rate as long as rooms are available no matter what day.
Like I said contact me if you have any problems with either the hotel or registration and I will work to resolve it.

As for who will be there it is hard to say. You will have to ask those individuals. A lot of people don't know until last minute whether they will go or not.
I haven't seen a updated registration list.
I know Jas' has worked hard to get GM to bring some of their trucks down.
I haven't heard lately how he is doing with that.
I am sure there will be tons of video shot. As far as a professional video it is a bit outside our budget at this point.

Fountain jumping? Enough alcohol and BG can jump over anything :wink:
I'll make sure my jack and jackstands are there for you to jump again.

got a room for thurs-saturday for w/ 2 double beds for 79.99 per night..cant wait!
I am planning on being there this year.
It might be the first and last year that I bring the Aspen GT!

My schedule sux but I'm going from work to KC saturday night and yes I know I will miss this and that but at least I'll get to take a few pics sunday morning and maybe a few of you will hang around for another day or so. I will come back to Oklahoma monday so if there is anyone to hang out w/sunday night it will be all good.

Sunday morning gets shorter every year.
there is the awards breakfast at applebees, which you will need to have a registration wristband to attend and then the dorr prize raffle.
After that everyone pours out to say their goodbyes, get loaded and on the road.
Don't worry there will still be a few trucks left in the parking lot.
I commend you for driving all that way for just one day, tho.

Its just a 4 hour drive... If Mandy comes or not I'm staying until monday and will just make a lil late weekend deal out of it. Morgan already said he'll be around the entire week anyways so I can hang out w/someone. Who do I pay for reg.? Wow, $80 just to walk into Applebees? I'll just stay out in the parking lot and take pics

Well actually registration cost covers your T-Shirt, track fees, breakfast, registration materials, trophies, etc etc etc.
Don't blame the nats that you cant show up on time, eh?
And just an fyi for anyone else out there:
Anyone not wearing a registration wrist band will not be allowed to enter the track facility or the awards banquet.
Seems every year some people don't want to pay and just show up anyways then expect to get all the same stuff everyone else paid for for free.
Ain't gonna happen... gotta pay to play!

Two Austin TX area guys, Steve and Al are coming, looking forward to the fun, Typhoon is getting the usual prep as I write this.

Hell I even put tire treatment on the inside face of the tires this time...
Al's number one truck is not coming, died on the dyno, bummer I guess the 675 HP was just too much.
Al may bring the backup truck, just not sure yet... :-?
Just debating on putting in a "long range" deisel tank to take advantage of the $1.60 a gallon price down here for the Dodge. 8)
Hope gas prices don't kill the fun...

Ms myclone and myself will have to sit this one out too. Dammit...
Too much going on and not enough green backs to cover it all. With the looming wedding/honeymoon (I was game to camp out in the yard for the honeymoon but that didnt fly for some reason :-? ), becoming the local 700R4 expert by trial and error in the last ~18 months, and finaly remodeling the house ("whaddya mean we need new kitchen cabinates?!?!?!?!?") has stretched the myclone budget as far as it will go.
Hell, Im pestering my boss every week for OT so I can buy a freakin TC as Id at least like to make it to a local track this year.....maybe :roll: .
Anyways, you guys that go drink a cold one for me and someone PLEASE get vid if BG climbs on a bike/skate board/shopping cart/whatever while shnockered.
