Whos the TYPHOON WIZARD HERE?!

Lutz! Where is Typhoon 2?
Looking for a Wizard to breath new life into my Typhoon! Someone that knows the motor well and can sit down and discussion performance options. The local mechanic is good but he has lots of regular consumer traffic and I worry that he doesn’t have enough time to really focus on it.
The motor is stock and runs great but I need to start with the following:

- Replace the exhaust system (including exhaust manifolds).
- Suspension upgrades (coil-overs, ZR1s, breaks, etc.)
- Tighten up small trany fluid leak.
- clean up the motor and add some painted or shiny stuff ;^).
Also looking for some additional advice on the most commonly known performance tweaks. Let me know. Thanks...

P.S. Oh, I'm located about 10mins from Dave & Busters NY (where NASTE just met) but willing to travel if it means the work will be done by the right person.

Sounds like you already know what you want to do. Just do it.

Also, consider a high volume fuel pump and a variable fuel pressure regulator.

Then you can try some of the chip/injector combinations out there.

A lot of bang for the buck.

Morgan (aka NJTY180) He has done work like this for people before.. if you ask nicely and compensate him well he might be willing to do it again.

are you talking new internals or just the basic boltons?
Bolt ons for now, serious internals in the near future (selling the Z).

Well, Morgan (NJTY180), I am asking nice if you’re reading this. I got cash (and beer).
Let me know and we’ll talk. Oh, CRASH I forgot to post pics of the SY passenger and driver side cladding (1 broken, 1 good) that I have for sale. I’ll do it when I get home.

Not to disuade you, but if you are planning on doing a build, save the money and do it all at once, rather than doing boltons, then doing it all again...unless the boltons you can use with you build as well.

example: don't get a PTE 52 turbo kit, throw it on, then do a build and want a bigger turbo.

I am about 2.5 hours from Dave and Busters. I have experience with what your looking for. I have lots of expereince and time install coilovers. I could take some time off in late April to do the work (I am working as an accountant, so before April 15th is out of the question). I will send you a pm.
