Who's ty is this running 9's?

Tom Ferrick. He's from Glenside PA. i am not sure but I don't think he is on these boards. I think his best is a 9.84 or something.

SURE he is.Mods are prolly just a throttle-body airfoil and a drop in K&N to boot :roll:

if possible not for very long! One hard launch with slicks and the rear end will break into 1000 pieces. Especially with 1.3-1.4 60fts.

On the V-6 Chevy Xtremes, there is an 8.5" locking rear diff. Over on the s-series board they are quite fond of this rear end and several have stated that this rearend can hold quite a bit of HP. With a possible drop in modification like that available...is that a viable alternative to fronting massive amounts of money for a ford 9"? Thoughts?

I talked to Tom not too long ago. He checks the BB from time to time. He has lots of bow tie parts, and he does wheel stands he said so he must be rear wheel drive. I don't know what axle he is using. One of these days I am going to check his used parts trailer and find some goodies for me. :D

9INCH REAR

I RUN A FORD 9INCH REAR WITH 31 SPLINE AXLES. I BROKE THE CENTER SECTION LAST YEAR. BLEW IT OUT THE BOTTOM BROKE THE TRANS.,, DRIVESHAFT, TRANS. COOLER,NO JOKE WHEN YOU BLOW A REAR.SPEND THE MONEY NOW OR MORE LATER.

MADE SOME MAJOR CHANGES , SHOULD BE READY IN 3 WEEKS. I WILL PROBABLY RENT THE TRACK FOR A FEW HOURS.TRYING TO GET READY FOR THE NATIONALS.
