my ty is my wife/gf. thrills me when i want it to,cost me lots of money.eats up all my time.very tempermental.nobody understands what i see it.i could go on and on

Except for the few times she drove it and had an excuse to put her foot in it, she has no interest, but supports it as a hobby for me. There have been a few times where she came back from driving it with a big grin on her face. Bottom line is, I don't WANT her too interested. I don't wanna share mine, and one SyTy in the family is (more than?) enough....

My wife is cool with it not in love with it and not the biggest car show fan but she tuffs it out

My Wife is more between minimal and loves it. It is more of a love hate relationship like we all have with out SyTys. She is on me to get it running and likes to go to the events. She has helped me reinstall the dash since she could get her hands in places behind the dash I couldn't and she help me but the coil overs on the rear. Other times she wants nothing to do with it and doesn't even want to hear about it. Then she goes out and buys me new rims... She does love to get into races when she drives it. So not sure where that puts her.. :-b

My ex hated my muscle cars , but loved my Acura ( that I used to have ) ... yeah I ditched the Ac when I ditched her , lol ---

Sounds like you may have a keeper if the all the other issues are ok, and if so your lucky.
Not easy to find a nice girl that likes hanging out in the shop!

BINGO! And from where I live it's only a short hop to Manila, Bangkok and Saigon (oops sorry, Ho Chi Minh City) where the bar time is "real quality" time (hell even the local bars here are better than any place state side) :tup: ! Soooo.... yea mine likes me in the garage or shop.

The girlfriend openly hates the truck and regularly offers to sell it to perfect strangers out from under me. On the other hand, she loves going to car shows and enjoys attending truck meets of all kinds, including SyTy meets. She spotted a flyer for an upcoming event at Raceway Park in today's mail when she got home from work and checked with me to make sure I knew the date of the Fall Swapmeet and was making sure I didn't have to work.

My wife thinks it's OK, Its in both our names, she goes to the car shows with me, she doesn't
like the hard 1 to 2 shift, she would prefer to drive around in her Rally Yellow 2004 Pontiac Sunfire
I know we get more looks from people when we drive it, most people just look puzzled when they see the SY. I am lucky I have been married to her for 30 years and we are best friends.

Mine's not much of a garage goer, unless I'm doing something she perceives as dangerous/dumb (read: potentially entertaining). She doesn't really "get it", but is willing to track down and order stuff for the cause (even if it means dealing with Renz).
