Wiper Switch Part#

Can someone who has replaced their wiper switch to fix the phantom wipe please give me the GM part number? This should be for the actual switch which is housed down inside the steering column.

I'm finally feeling motivated to tear the steering column apart, but I can't find the part number anywhere.

Thanks!

what do you mean by phantom wipe? On my syclone, somtimes when i hit my turn signal the wiper comes on once. is this what you are referring to if so i would like to get a new switch also. i work at advance auto, tomorrow i will check and see if we sell this switch.

Yep, that's it. It is a pretty common problem with S10 trucks. Supposedly you have to replace the switch that is inside the steering column. I was looking in the service manual and there are a couple different electrical things in there, so I'm not sure which one causes the problem.

Hopefully someone who has fixed it can enlighten us.

Dal slabaugh at vandevere olds will defintiely beat them when factoring in shipping.

He doesn't charge an arm and a nut like gmpartsdirect.com does.

Find Dals contact info under Vandevere Olds on my vender page.

And I want this damn part # too...
Also want the part # for the same stalk without cruise controls, for when I delete mine. It'd be cool to delete the controls at the same time.
"No mine was the RARE Typhoon, no roofrack, no cruise, no ABS and no rear wiper"
