wire identity

could anyone please tell me if this wire goes to (+) or (-) on the battery post?

about to install my new ebay scott white pn# 6651-r distributor. but before i can do that i need to hook up the battery and all the wires that go to it only i forgot where this one goes. it's a blk w/ red stripe into a connector with a orange wire then into a fuse-able link into a red wire into headlight wire loom.

i hooked the battery up and tried the lights and fog-lights and they werked without the wire in question so that is why i am asking for help. if you could please help me i'd really appreciate it, thank you.

i know it was probably a dumb question but i have no idea what that wire even goes to. i just always made sure it was connected. i had it disconnected for so long (due to ty not running) and that's why i forgot where it goes.

i guess i could test it to each batt. terminal but i don't want to short something out.

it's got a fusible link so my bet is (+) terminal
