Wrx gets spanked

I'm heading down the avenue (4 lane) and spotted a blue WRX comming up to the stop sign on the side street. I 'm hoping he turns left and yes he did. Two lights down and we are lined up with hardly any traffic in either direction. I look over and its two young guys, maybe 22-25. They did not look over. He never raced his engine or made and gesture that he wanted to race.

When the light turned green, we both started off normal. We were probably going a little over 5mph and I was looking at his front fender when all of a sudden I hear his engine rev up and he jumped on it. I nailed it as soon as I heard him go for it. He pulled about 1 car on me before my turbo spooled up. I reeled him in like he was sitting still. I had him about 7 cars and then he backed down.


We caught two more lights and he would not go for it again. They would not even look over when we were at the light. His car looked stock for all that I could tell. I guess he didn't want any more of the 20lbs I had waiting for him. At least now he knows not to mess with anything with Syclone badges on it.

A punk in a wrx was my first victim while driving my Ty home when I had just bought it. I thought "this is pretty cool" after spanking him really bad.

Those things are gutless compared to these, mine can beat my buds STi no problem ( until about 90 mph of course).. and both are pretty much stock.

:tup: Nice Kill. Not to many people know what a Syclone is. The people who do, normally have their facts wrong. You don't know how many people ask me if my truck has the almighty GN motor in it. lol I say, no its just a six cylinder.

Over a year ago when I first bought my truck I took a joy ride out on the local strip. I just cruised really slow and I was getting all kinds of looks. Mostly looking at my 3 gauge pillar. Some young 16-17 year old asked me why I have gauges in a old S-10 pickup truck. Needless to say, he was a mustang owner with his girlfriend in the passenger seat. We happen to get the next light. I asked him if he wanted to run his almighty rust tang. Asked him what mods he had done. He told me it wouldn't matter what mods he had, stock he could beat me. He wasn't stock, sounded like exhaust, headers maybe few bolt ons. I was running my old TE45a turbo setup at the time hitting about 16-18psi. So I give him a head start on purpose and let her rip with a 8psi boost launch. He started out 2-3 cars ahead and then I fly past him. Did not even hit 60mph yet and he was toasted. I backed off on purpose and kept giving it gas and letting off just to stay by his door. We get the next light and I just smile and ask him if I should give him 5 cars this time. He said, "**** that, WTF is that thing. I heard a turbo spool up and you were gone."

I love hearing kill stories. I don't have any of my own but I have had a newer GTO thumbs up next to me and a Cobra eyeball the crap out of the TY when I was on the highway. I didn't bite on either, but it was nice to have someone acknowledge the TY. I have had the TY for almost a year and have only had two people come up and acknowledge the TY. I live in Montana and DAILY DRIVE her!!! People up here have no idea what a Typhoon or Syclone is!

Those mustangs are sure fun as hell to screw with man. Except when you run up on the 725 hp supersnakes... or 500 hp cobras... either way it's still fun to f with everybody... next thing is the lic. plate that says FRDEATR.

Once I'm finished I could have some problems with a 725 whp supersnake but bring on the 500+ cobras ;)

On the flip side of the Mustang story there was trailer 'stang at Infineon last Wed. 371 small block BIG procharger with 4" intake to an ice box on the pas floor. Get this: 8.3 @ 174 flippin' impressive. Popping a 'chute one Wed night with mufflers? Give me a break. :shocked!:Sure was fun to watch.
