looking for a 1992 or 1993 454 SS. color/mileage not super important. ideally in the Southwest US: CA, AZ, CO, NV, NM, UT. just a reasonable working truck.

Had a '90 that I loved more than anything...until it got stolen from me. Really a fun truck, unfortunately not that fast in stock form. I'll keep my eyes open for you!

i just saw a red one with a fs sticker drive by me the other day. It was an autotrader fs sign. have you checked with them? it was in Az btw

Phoon - i saw the white one in Denver. Carfax doesnt check out too well. Over 200k on the truck which might be a little worry. But thank you

Good luck with your search. I used to have a '92 C1500 Sport. Looked just like the 454SS, but had a small-block in it. Fun trucks with lots of potential.:tup:

Why just 92 or 93? 91 also had 4l80e.

Getting a good ROI on a 454ss is less likely than a sy/ty. I just got rid of my 454ss. Man was it a turd stock. Gm should be ashamed.

Doesn't the 91-93 actually have the tbi intake instead of the carbed intake with TBI adapter?

Much like my SY, always wanted one. in the ball park of affordability for me. and i may try and tow with it.

ROI is less of an issue. 90 % of these projects wont make any $ when include time, materials etc. Thank goodness its a hobby.
