Haha. I haven't used the AC the past 5 years I've been driving it. I'd rather have the windows open and listen to the exhaust. Plus recently when I tried using it to see if it worked, it didn't work even charged it at work.
I'll be keeping all the AC components as well, so don't worry guys.

You can bypass the ac without deleting it.
Pull off the compressor and replace it with this:http://m.autozone.com/autozone-mobi...y/_/N-iwrbxZ91tb7?searchtext=Ac+delete+pulley
Don't throw away the resale value of having a truck with a/c. For some ppl no air means they won't even consider it.
Heat will still work fine btw.

My dad had the truck for 16 years, and I never plan on getting rid of it ever. I'll die in it. I also said, I was keeping all the AC components.
I want the engine bay as clean as possible without the AC bracket.

Right on.The part I posted is $32 and will delete your a/c is all I'm saying. :tup:

The delete kit is a dealer item. I'm sure you can get one from gm still.

The delete kit is the same thing as the dorman pulley....I have pulled numerous pulleys from the junkyard with the GM part number labels on them.....If you wanna really delete the a/c nicely it the RPM kit ....but I bet sean knows that....I'm working on making my own delete kit that's not as expensive as RPM's kit is....I'll keep you all updated on this as I progress in putting it together.

Hey Sean, I have a Mighty Mouse a/c delete on my Ty and it works great.
Also the fans I run are from jeg's and the fit mint I can send you the number when
I get home. Dave might make you up a bracket or you can copy what I have.
