WTB Brodix 23 degree heads valve covers

Hey folks. Looking for a nice set of tall valve covers for the Brodix heads. I called RPM and it looks like they’ve gotten away from doing very much SyTy work. Anyone know of an alternative or have a set you’re willing to part with?

No valve covers, just a rant and a possible solution. I called RPM a month ago, and they said the same thing. They also said they were re-doing their website and the unavailable parts would not be listed on the new site. Well the new site is live and every part I asked about, which they no longer make or sell, are still listed.

Now while searching I found that the GM 231 V6 uses the same valve cover gasket as the Brodix heads. Those covers can still be found new and used. They might no be tall enough, or they might. If not, it may be easier to modify a set than to find a set of sheetmetal 'race' covers. Good luck

I appreciate the response. I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s attempted to call them and ran into the same thing. Also, that is for the info. I’ll look into that possibility. Isn’t it surprising that Brodix doesn’t make the valve covers for the V6 heads?

Gents,
Interesting on the 231 using the same gaskets. I will have to dig around and see if the old Valve covers and gaskets fit the Brodix heads. Side note: Was working on my stage 2 Buick motor yesterday as the push rods were almost hitting the heads on the way to full lift.

That would be great Bob and thanks for the info. I will probably reach out to you for some cam guidance when I’m ready to purchase it since you and I have spoken about where I’m planning to go with my build.

Thanks to Bob/prop top for checking this theory. The answer is no to the Buick valve covers for the Brodix heads. See the pictures he sent over to me below.

I can confirm theres no way the 231 covers are a fit. What you are looking for are 229 v6 covers. You will be hard pressed to find a set of tall ones tho. I just sold a set.
