Wondering what everyone thinks is the biggest pain in the ass on these trucks.....from knock problems, to dist. bolt, to #3 plug and much much more!

Whats your vote?

My ass. Look at it.
Trying to keep my Stock, Daily Driven Typhoon's hood shut,..... it just seems like Im always working on it, oh yeah,.....I am always working on it! :x
I wouldnt say anything has been too difficult, wires, plugs, injectors, vac lines, and everthing else that needs replaced all the time, I guess Im just get better with practice. Its just the sheer fact that Im always doing something to it that gets pretty aggravating.

As of now its the Lower Ball Joints. I've invented NEW swear words doing this job.

Haven't done the Fuel Tank yet...

#1 spark plug with ATR headers. 15 minutes to do plugs 2-6, one hour to do plug one which included "tool fabrication time" - i.e - grinding a spark plug socket down to fit......

That's why I have 2-3 China socket sets in 3/8" and 1/4" - they are easily sacrificed for those "custom" fit jobs. :D

bolt that loosens the distributor (with egr in place)...makes me want to pull the cab off just to get to it...

EGR Delete + IC line reroute + Cap Removal = much easier access. I was looking in Bezerk's engine bay this weekend...you know how much easier it was looking in his engine bay with a white firewall? Leaps and bounds difference. He also made sure to bolt the engine as far forward as possible. Smart move on his part.

Typhoon Fuel Pump = Hell. Rene and I did his Ty in 4 hours yesterday. I did my Sy by myself today in 2.5 hours.

Recently, I guess Cap&Rotor. Easy swap, but they don't seem to last very long. Lately though, since I installed the Denso Iridium plugs, it's been working great. Otherwise, the damn truck's been running quite well - knock on wood.

BTW, KB Headers and RPM's 3" Downpipe - ALL 6 plugs in 15 minutes - No problem. :p
