18 inch rims and sumitomo tires=smokeshow

I took my buddy who is a cop out for a ride in my SY, came to an onramp and nobody was coming so I figured I would boost lauch it and show him what she can do, I launched at about 5lbs, braced myself, then.....nothing, I was like wtf??? then I let off the gas a little and realized all 4 tires were spinning, looked back and there were some nasty streaks I laid down. I never had trouble with my stock tire setup, and I was running the 18's for like 2 weeks and never noticed anything like this, now she is chirping second if not spinning second, and breaking loose all the time. Anyone else had this problem with a SY or TY just come out of the blue? It is weird cause it just started happening today. If anyone could chime in I would appreciate it. Thanks

shorter sidewall will contribute to it somewhat.

Could be that the new tires haven't worn off their factory "sealant coating" yet making them slippery.

Video!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, I know I was gunna do that tomorrow. It just started happening today. I will try to get vid tomorrow, and not get a ticket in the process. :D Keep an eye on this thread, I will launch it a couple of times from multiple angles to make sure all the tires are spinning. I did take pics of the streaks that I will post also, but I left the cam in the truck and its covered now. Tomorrow night look for the link to the vid, I will get it up.

Crap  , tried to recreate the burnout I did the other day, but wasn't happening. I did however get some sweet launches on video. Couple were smokey. Click to play them.

Here are pics of the streaks from the sick burnout I did, but couldn't recreate on video yet
