Serious buyers only!!!

If it moves under its own power, and has complete cladding in reasonable (can be repaired) condition, I'll give you $2,250 for it.

That's a "serious" offer. I paid $3,900 for a Sy 5 years ago in the above described condition that didn't have a spec of rust on it, did not have a damage history on Carfax, and had A-Mold wheels and Baer brakes. From reading the threads from 4 years ago, I don't think yours is as nice, hence my lower offer.

Let me know. I'm a cash buyer.

All the metal is gonna be crust, and all the plastic is gonna be brittle, plus the gas to go get it. I don't think you should walk across the street to get it for free.

OUCH......

I wish I would have researched my truck more before I bought it but
very happy with it now.

Glad everyone is looking out for each other here!

Cheers

As much as the truck is not a $15000 truck, it's also not a $2000 truck. The full set of cladding is around $2000 and the motor and interior. I would never sell my truck in this forum. Every listing that's not a muesium piece is ripped to threads on here. I agree 100% that this truck is not worth anywhere near $15k, but it is still a "low" mileage Sy. I think it would make an outstanding parts truck, especially given the frame damage history. I'd take it for 4K.

I agree, even though i am new to these trucks, it seems that every damn one is hiding some expensive flaw. People that have an interest in them have learned the hard way. Everybody goes worst case scenario on the value expecting to have thousands of dollars worth of repairs. But that being said in my short time on this forum I have seen some serious lowball offers thrown out. I've been wheeling and dealing for a while and I have never seen so many low ballers in one place.

A full set of cladding is worth at least $3000 if it does not need to be repaired and includes all brackets and pucks for attachment.

So you might be in the market in the $5-$6k range :tup:

It's a PIA to part it out and deal with shipping and dealing with buyers. The cladding is also super bulky to ship as well. I wouldn't give more than $3k for this truck to part it out.

I have to agree with this. I will never part out another truck.. Was a lot of work to keep tract of who bought what, packing stuff, shipping.. Overall I came out well money wise but future reference never again.
