Another newb from Raleigh

Well it looks like there are a few guy's rolling around Raleigh with Syclones or Typhoons, Hopefully my currently stock and mothballed clone will be making her debut again soon as I work out getting her back on the road. I bought her new in 91 and drove it off the showroom floor but unfortunately had some trans issues, was newly married and lack of funds to get her rolling right so I parked her in my garage this was way back in 99. Flash forward to now, I've got two kids a Lizard and an an itch to get her running. I'll be cruising the forums and checking out mods for an engine rebuild and possibly a 4l80e install with future plans to have her repainted and possibly have a 4 link rear suspension installed along with a few other suspension mods.

I look forward to posting pics when things kick off.

Welcome, I've been on the forum a while and working on finalizing the purchase of a Sy later this month. Didn't know there were this many Sy owners in Raleigh as I don't see them running around.

You don't live in N. Raleigh by chance do you Billywonka? A friend of mine spotted a Sy in his neighborhood that is packed in a garage and hasn't run since he moved in 3 years ago...

That sounds like me. :p been longer than 3 years though unfortunately..life got in the way..
