How did you feel she did ?? If it weren't that I thought I'd EAT a set of tires in two runs I'd love to do it. I just always sensed the AWD wouldn't overcome the NHB-( NO HANDLEING BRICK ) lol.

The stock steering box was my biggest problem. Absolutely no response at all. I'm actually pretty dissapointed in the Koni shocks I put in. It's definately an improvement over my old ones, but as you can see, it still leans with the best of them. But the race rubber kept it holding the corners very nicely. You can see the Beltech rear swaybar go to town on these picts by comparing the lean to the front. The AWD works nicely to help accelerate out of some of the tight corners and turn arounds. It seems to pull the front end around the corner. It's wierd, no matter how hard I pushed the little beast, the rear end never ever once kicked out. I kinda wished it did just a little, but I think the suspension is just way to soft and prevents it from happening. This was the third time I've autocrossed it, and the first time with the new shocks and swaybar. Definately much more responsive, but still needs alotta work.
Tires don't really wear that much unless you have some serious alignment problems. Go out and try it. Do it at least once and make a decision then whether you want to continue or not.

Did you feel like you faired well" time wise" in the class you were running in ? I realize thats NOT the only reason for showing up...but just asking what seemed to hang ??

I was racing with 30 Dakota R/T's, one Integra GSR, and a 240SX. I was over 2 seconds faster than than the fastest R/T, about a tenth of a second faster than the Integra, and about a tenth slower than the 240. But this was just an exhibition event for me. I raced once in a real event. Here were the results. The class is LS (Large Sedan)....

Hmm.........you didn't like the Koni's ??? Bummer........I just picked up some front adjustables and wanted to wake up my front end.

i have to try to post a vid of my autocross in the ty. i had some dot slicks all around and the thing stuck like glue. i beat out the camaro's, mustangs, firebirds, etc. even sti's and evo's. placed 2nd in my class at the Duel at DeAnza. gotta run the slicks though. woowee.
