Re: bf goodrich ?

I love bfg's and would ONLY run on them if I could find a tire wide enough for my zr1's and z06's that ISNT a drag radial, lmfao. What type of BFG did you find in 18's?! ---

btw bfg's on the 67s, good year's on the 96z, and Falken on the SY ---

Re: bf goodrich ?

always used BFG's. Cant say how they are compared to other brands because thats all I use. I have KDWS's on my SY. Great grip. in the rain they have good grip. Probablu not the best tire out but I trust them.

My ass. Look at it.
Re: bf goodrich ?

BF's are probably my favorite brand of tire, they make great performance tires! However, they seem to have a very short life in comparison to others.

Ive had GREAT results with Toyos, great treadlife and MUCH cheaper than BFs

just got a offer from a guy to buy his old vette rims , my question is they have run flat tires on them , do they ride any worse than regular tires ? never had anything with them on it. and if they run flat how do you know when they are flat

You need to have a pressure monitering system to tell you if they're flat becasue just by looking at them you'll never know they're flat. You can purchase one if you really want to, but I've never seen one that is of any quality go for much less $500-$600 dollars, then you have to have it installed. I personally don't think run-flats ride any worse then regular tires, I've drove a bunch of vette's over the years that have them and they seem fine to me.

Like everyone has been saying go BFG or Toyo they are at the top of the class when it comes to tires.

Re: bf goodrich ?

I just bought a set of KDW's for my Sy in stock size on Saturday. I haven't gotten to throw my truck around through the corners yet, though. I just used up a set of Eagle F1 GS-D3's, and I wanted a good comparison. First thing I notice, they ride alittle rougher and are alittle noiser than the F1's. I think the rougher ride just might be the newer tire. I know GS-D3's ride alot quieter though. I was able to get the KDW's for about $30 less per tire over the F1's. I believe the KDW's should be able to keep up with the F1's handling, though.

I've always liked BFG's. They're always a good tire (not counting alot of old M/T's and A/T's that were prone to popcorn seperation). They were always as good of quality as some of the other big name brands, but were always a few bucks less.

BTW, KD's are the sh@!#, if you don't care about good wet traction!!!!

Re: bf goodrich ?

Odds are the BFG kdw are not released alot of the wider 18 and 19 sizes are not released yet, heck the 315/30/18 was released dec 20 and obselete dec 21, I was calling them every month for a release dat and was told next month , next month. Now I want the 335-30-18 and they are saying the end of the year (sure they will)
