I might have to do that. I though about leaving the garage lights on to help it adjust to being in it's new home...

You have an awsome truck! Hope you enjoy it!

Here are a couple pics I took when they were picking it up.

Whoa, that truck is super nice and I would venture to say, quite an investment. In that kind of condition, you shouldn't lose any money if you ever part with it. Enjoy it and hope to see you around with it sometime at one of the SyTy meets.

Re: Bringing home Saudi Syclone 2792

Thanks for the compliments. For those who have asked: Yes, I have a new motor and bigger turbo on the way! ;) That way i can drrive it 10-15k per year. Nah, just playin! I like the truck just the way it is, and I think it should be preserved as such. There aren't too many unmolested trucks left, and I'm not going to be the one to do it to this one. I'll drive it a little bit so it can be enjoyed, but only on a limited basis. I guess I'll just have to buy another one that I can actually drive.

I am bringing it to homecoming, and to some other local shows including the dream cruise. Nationals next year might be an option depending on where it is and how much it would take to get it there.

The "0002" is mostly from pushing it out of the barn!

Does it start dinging when you exceed 80 MPH or have you even had it to that speed?

Re: Bringing home Saudi Syclone 2792

i find the "unleaded fuel only" label odd, since it is (or was) setup for leaded fuel

Its all ABOOT the SYTY eh
Re: Bringing home Saudi Syclone 2792

Nice truck! Can't wait to see it at homecoming! Gonna take lots of pics

I thought the saudi trucks dash were converted to metric? I mean, in those pics above, MPH is the larger font but I thought they were marked as KPH being the larger font and the odo would be in kilometers.

The reason for this is that this is not the cluster that was in it over in Saudi. They took those clusters out when the trucks got back to the states and they slapped some standard S-10 guage clusters in there.

As for the beep, I have not heard it so far. I'm told it starts at 75 MPH. I haven't had it up to that speed yet. Just trying to take it easy for now. I want to do a data log on it to make sure there is no detonation, and probably change cap, rotor, plugs, wires, etc before I take it too fast.

I have a lot more pictures ready to go up tonight. Any requests?

Didn't all saudi SYs come w/ the standard S-10 cluster? Why/who would remove the cluster, what would be the purpose? Just so it reads unleaded gas?

The scratches show in this picture are not of the clear coat coming off. The scratches are below the clear coat. Anyone else experience this?
