turbo and exhaust scavenging is a pretty simple one to go into, turbo + valve overlap gets tricky. Alot of things change in a boosted motor, ecspecially with a highly pressurized exhuast.

It is extremely difficult to design a set of headers for a turbo system that will scavenge like in a N/A application. Think of the role the turbine wheel plays in the system (hint: it takes energy to spin the turbine wheel, thus slowing its velocity). While it is possible to achieve lower than 1:1 exhaust backpressure, it will introduce lag. Good for max effort drag cars....not street cars.

So I was checking my Facebook messages, and one of them got sent to the "other" folder, and in that folder was one from Bubba. I had posted on one of his pics or something, and I don't remember what I said, but here was his reply.
