I love the shit talking, and it would be more entertaining if a few others on here played into it as well.

I think everyone should just think about it. Jamies is going to be faster at a drag race on a preped track 1/8 or 1/4mile it doesnt matter. And a USA showdown would be more of a fair race and would be easier to arrange than shipping a truck overseas. Its still a sy, and its still v6, single. So he gets points for keeping it ture to form. Mike C's truck is a v6 twin, so he gets points for it being a v6 still. And they NEED RWD to be competitive.

Robberts is going to be faster (maybe) on a road/airport/europe track, as it will only burn them for a few seconds and not the whole run. His is also the fastest AWD, v6, single, truck at this time. So credit is due. He also NEEDS the AWD to be competitive in europe, i would think that a RWD car could hook good/great it just wouldnt be consistant, every time type of thing.

Jamie, have you taken it out on the street. Does it hook at all? If you lay down 5-6 good long burnouts in the same spot will it hook? Some of the local midwest guys have pics of 8 second cars pulling the tires on the street.

If JH had a good surface to take off from, i think he could win it anywhere... Airstrip/road/track

Keep the shit talking going, just dont take it to personal. The people bashing in this tread are all the gods/kings/fastmofos of the syty world. And it should stay that way

U have to update Ur pics of Roberts engine room, that pics are almost 3 years ol, and yes we tryed to use NOZ for spoling turbo but this teknic was not aplyably when going to E-85

AND besides we never notice anny improvement in 50 - 70 Hp level so I GUESS everyone who only "spools" there turbo uses 100+ Hp level on NOZ

I was just showing that R is very informative with his succes AND disasters for all of U to see, and have been so for years, U all have acces on this, Robert is not hiding annything BESIDES the info on camspecs, we also did a "poundcake recepi" for a fast Sy

The comparably info from Hoover,Hess and other "no name" fast guy´s is almost ZIPP...

AND U told me grudge race was no rules and now U want to make exeptions to this??

Hm, we´re talking big bucks here, just so U know it (wether Robert goes to US or Hacking goes to Europe)

Besides freight cost (container on boat ) is the 6 - 8 weeks at sea with whatever shit that can happens to ship and cargo single way, its the same trip back = 12 - 16 weeks

Then U got all the paperwork, custom inquires etc etc and in some cases a HUGE deposition fee

Insurances = BIIIG bucks

Where are U gona have the truck standing before the race? ( yes we still might have Jeff and Jeremy to count on)
The logistic for spare parts IF the truck breaks down ( we talking minor repares here like belt, Clutch pack in trans, berings on engine, converter etc) stuff that U normaly is able to fix on a race weekend.

And a issue that is very real here in Europe that make´s US chose carfully amongst the countrys to race in, The risk of getting Ur veicle high jacked. This threat is real and not to be neglected.

U se we´re not the only one´s who read about these fast trucks, and when a workin plan is on shipping a fast race/street car annywhere there allways lots of times for the "bad guys" to make plans.

I know of insidents on a COPO Camaro that was high jacked into a indian reservation, federal police could´nt do shit, and a "reward" for finding the COPO was anonsed and collected and COPO´n was returned...NOT the rigg and trailer..

For the rest of it, come up with a total amount, and a few of us can start working on it :)

Many of those 9 second passes were with stock block, vortecs, stock intake, awd and yes...a 700r4, I can confirm that. Nice work Jamie.

Why should the King Dog be expected to jump through hoops and shuttle his truck all around the world for wanna-be's who challenge him? I don't get it! If Robert was making the challenge, then sure, pony up and show up BUT Robert isn't the one trying to prove to the world he is fast.....he already did that. If one is too poor to go to the fight, then IMO he is too poor to fight. Better to keep what you have than risk losing it all.

I think the wiser thing for JH to do is race the fast guys in the US (Silly, Bully, Hess, Auto-Addiction, Turrrbo6, Mann, Cloneman, WindedV6, Mike C, T-Bone, etc) and the fastest one in the end gets to go to Europe to dance with the Star (say $2500 fronted by forum members to help cover their costs). Bottom Line is the challenger needs to man up and go to the King if he is to be dethroned!!!!

For the record, I was fantasizing above about being a fast guy. One day maybe..............

There should be a pecking ladder established on the forum and we elect a promoter like D. King in the boxing world (ex; Jeff Scott or Jeremy Duncan - somebody that has a gift to really promote a fight and set up some action) and races (aka grudge matches) be lined up at the request of the challenger with some specific cash perk identified for the winner ($250 for a race at the bottom of the ladder and say $1000 per race for the top spot). Limit the ladder to 10 rungs so some can buy into it if they win or get booted when they lose. Anything goes regarding set-up or power adders but it MUST be in a Syclone/Typhoon/SGT body.....and set-up the grudge race around SyTy community events for mass support. You could even charge $5 (pocket change) for each viewer to offset the winner pot.

Opinions?

Typically I would agree but this is a case where everyone is is one location and 1 single person is in another. That is why everyone wants him to come here.

For what it is worth, I have no problem with Robert or Anders, but I got $3,000 that says they get a stripe laid down the side of that brand new paint job. But as stated, I will only bet on what I can see first hand, and I don't plan on going to Europe any time soon.

p.s. i have the same fantasies ;)

Maybe they will get this race off and I can use the winnings to complete the truck!

You see...the problem with all these ideas is the fact that there isn't a sanctioning body or sanctioned race event that all these players are participating in. If it were a WSN or Shakedown a E-town event AND these guys all were contestants, then much of these ideas could be had. Why would a guy like Ed or VinnyD or Callahan or Hacking take their trucks, cart it to wherever, race (with the risk of damaging it), then ship it overseas? The best-prepared tracks are located in the US. Robert has brought his truck out here at great expense to him. He ran the fastest pass for the event he was in (Nats '06), and he shipped the truck back home. That's fantastic, a great accomplishment. Now for reality.

Ed (and VinnyD and AutoAddictions and Tom Ferrick) race at Atco. Jamie races at Rockingham. Gerber races in the Midwest (IN or MI). John Frey races at Bandimere. What do these locations have in common? They're located in the US - the highest concentration of syty's in the world. When Robert came here 4 years ago, the only truck that came out to meet him was John. No Ed or Tom. No Callahan or Gerber.

In my opinion, this race will never happen unless Robert travels to either Atco or Rockingham, although I would think Jamie would go race at Atco if Robert were there. As for the others, I am pretty sure Gerber could give a shit less if he has the fastest Ty int he world or not. He has done what he has done because he wanted to (self-gratification).

I am not the water-carrier for anyone. I know a few of these guys as I have spoken to them at length before. I am not speaking for anyone - I am not their spokesman. I think the only people that should be talking shit are Robert, Jamie, Ed, VinnyD, Gerber, John, and any other truck owner themselves.

Alex just to clarify up a bit. I race up and down the entire East coast wtih X275 series & NDRRA & ORTC, so I would be willing to race @ any race track Not just my local Tracks. Moorseville, Darlington, Rockingham, Farminton, Shadyside, Piedmont, I could keep going. We are blessed with tracks with all in 1-2 hour from me.
