I'm using Razor's kit and am really happy with it. If I can tame my boost control, I'll give it more than 20psi.

How much timing are you running with the 23-24psi?

As far as the timing, I'm running on T2-F7 setting of the ultimate chip. Which is the highest timing setting of the chip program. So I have no idea:oops: .

Looking at a calibration might not even help you determine what timing you were running. The timing value will change based on boost, rpm, MAT value, coolant temp. That's the beauty of a computer controlled system. I'd guess on a T2 program, you'd be at 17-18 degrees at full boost, from 3500-4500 RPM. I purposely setup the calibration to try to be safe. So if your coolant temps climb, the timing will drop. If the MAT values are high (heat soak, or dead IC pump, etc), the timing will drop a bit.

So datalog it and you'll be able to see for sure :)

Re: Dyno numbers

Stock turbo's aside from what everybody thinks, if you add alky LOVE 24-25psi of boost. We have been running that level on a local truck here on pump gas for 2 years now.

If you got some time to pull the turbo apart I can give you how to get rock solid boost. Requires some reworking and the 3" DP with open port helps a TON.

I find it funny when people mention the 19 psi limit. I was there myself until we tried more boost. Jeremy (six-is-enough) still gets a smile from ear to ear when he thinks about the night we were running 27psi. I think he words are "That bi@th was hunting!"

Of course we recently removed the intercooler and still plan to run 24psi on pump and as much meth as we can dump into it.

Six-is-Enough

Use to do a little Boost
Re: Dyno numbers

Last fall @ the track during a run I saw MAT's below 30 degrees with the Methanol injection .

27 psi was awesome, but I am not ballsy enough to run it there on a stock motor. The one time was an accident. Or least thats what Jeff said.

I'm going to plan on doing that this winter. Are you using a larger flapper, or is the stock size sufficient with porting and the straight exit path?

How much convincing does it take to get a guy to run 27psi with a stock motor? I think I'll try to keep it somewhere south of that ;)

Have you had to upgrade the ignition yet without the intercooler?

Thanks for the info, I should be able to run another 10* with the alky spraying.;)

Thanks. The only track I've been to in the last 4 years is Interstate up by Fargo.

Do you race the GT?
