So now I have to paint and cut a slot for my kit, that is total BS ... I am just glad to get this kit , but that is total bs dude ---

Over three hundred posts, what a waste of bandwidth, storage, and now people aren't getting what they ordered because you ran out of money, time, and now patience. A group purchase should benefit the community and the people purchasing parts. Your intentions were never good from the start because you never thought about the syty.net organization you only see yourself making money. Another greedy con-man who continues to get "owned" all over the internet. Good luck with that!

well if you want to send the brackets back ill make the slot for the cable to pass thru and will paint them as well and get them back out. Thats the best i can do at this point. I guess i screwed up again.

Why don't you just send another bracket with the proper work done? I am confused on how you can't afford to powdercoat them yet you can continue on with your own projects?

Deliver what you sold people or refund them money, plan and simple.

you should be able to cut slots in like 5 seconds with your brand new plasma cutter. Or did you spend all your money on the plasma cutter and now you can't afford your power bill along with not being able to pay for powdercoating (which would cost about $2/set MAX for you to have done)

I recieved my "kit" today & am proud to say that I waited a year for NOTHING. I would think that after that long the brackets should be pristine. It looks to me like that were cut out with a gas hatchet & kinda ground into something that might look acceptable on a demo car. The cable will not even clip in the hole because there was not enough room left between the hole & the inside of the bracket. In other words the break in the metal passes through the inner 1/4 of the hole. (even if after you cut out the the magical mystery slot) I wish I could post picts.
I also thought that the cables were to have return springs on the end that hook to the caliper side. I was sure I read that the missing springs was one of many excuses as to the hold up on the cables.
I can say that I am very dissapointed & I have learned my lesson.

wow thats horrid. Ok...and this is also strikingly similar to what MRKING and I have created :squint: I don't understand why its so different from the original pieces that jjorgensen made.

How do the cables look?

It's a shame someone would send those out in good conscience thinking that a customer would be happy with it. Doesn't say a lot about the person or their quality of work.....I'm kind of anxious to hear/see the responses from the other forums.

I have heard the same comments from Paul last night when he called me to say he actually got something, besides 1 years worth of excuses.

I suspect most of those brackets won't ever go on a truck. "Hey, check out my new brakes I just put on my pride and joy I have been working on. O yea, please don't look at those brackets I know it looks like a shark cut them out with his teeth, while smoking a joint."

Those arent horrible quality depending on what you pay. For $200 they are horrid. For $25, ahhh... cant complain so much.

Atleast he didn't waste his money powdercoating them. Its kind of worthless to powder coat junk.

no they don't. jjorg's used seperate pieces and were welded together, and had support rails on them.

these i wouldn't be surprised if they bent as you used them. For those that install the kid they recieve from hotrodv6, please watch under the truck and have someone kicked the footbrake down....does the arm of this bracket move a lot while actuating the parking brake of the caliper?
