Maximum Boost - Typhoon sighting

For anyone who has Maximum Boost by Corky Bell, if you goto Page 131, Chapter 11 on Exhaust systems, theres a pic of a sick lookin twin turbo sandrail motor. If you look close, you can see the driver side rear corner of a Blk/Blk Typhoon. You can just see the T and the cladding sticks out like a sore thumb.

Anyones on here?

Heres the book. Highly recommend it to everyone. Ian got it for me as an xmas present, havnet put it down since. Goes into alot of turbo dynamics with AR ratios, injector pulse, intercooler values and much more.

I have this book it is a must have!
I spoke to Corky back in Dec his new turbo book will be out soon!
He also has one on super chargers.

I bought htis book about 6 months ago and have eyt to finish the first chapter. I am a laaaazy bastard. Good reading so far thoguh.

Right when I got my Ty my friend gave my the book to read up on Turbo's. Outstanding info.

The turbo book is awesome, but he fills in the gaps w/ the supercharger literature.
In other words, get both books.

it helped me on my custom setup.. especialy the schedule 40 exhaust manifolds

This book is awesome, I'm about a third of the way through it. For someone like me who is relatively new to the turbo world this book is perfect because it explains everything in detail and doesn't assume that you know anything. Big :tup: I've been around turbo cars my whole life but they were always owned by other people--so when it came to actually planning a build for my truck I realized I didn't really know what I was doing. It's easy to throw around generalizations when discussing builds, but I want to actually understand what is happening and why it works...hence this book.

When I hear schedule 40 I think PVC...is that what you are referring to? Please explain.
