I hope for no serious injurys from this....

No unfortunatly i have no way to power the deck now.....I'd like to come up with a way too just haven't came up with a workable idea yet????Ideas?

I have also always wanted a shifter cart. But money says i cant buy one, so i'm building a cheaper version.

Todays progress is got some metal for the new hood sides and for the piece to raise the hood up. Ill post some more pics tomorrow.

a gear around your driveshaft could spin the deck

Decks are supposed to spin all the time not just when the thing is moving. Since the clutch is internal to the engine I'm not sure how you could incorporate a deck unless you pretty much didn't use the internal clutch and added one externally after your pickup for the deck..

Just skip the deck and build a roll-bar/cage for it instead.

"supposed to"...sure. But if he's just tryin to make the thing work...that'd be one way to do it.

I'd be concerned about what happens when the spinning deck blades scalp the ground or hit a solid object. Could very well trash the motor in what is otherwise a very fun project.
