So, for the losers like myself, can you give a brief synopsis of the goings on? It looked as though the weather cooperated nicely.

Yeah Anthony, you are a loser. The weather was absolutely fabulous! Perfectly cool, sunny to heat the track. Dig go the GN to go 11.90 I think at one point. He was hooking real nice on a pair of MT et streets. Dewey's truck started running like poopy about 40 miles outside of Sabin. We worked on it at the track to get it going but were not very successful. Jon's ty went
13.5 on a soft run. The next run he tried heat up the nitto's in the water box and snapped his propshaft, putting a large dent in the tranny pan. Jim's ty went down the track the most by far, and by far also has the most miles on it. It is stock too....coincidence? JR's bascially stock GN from Winona went 14.2 I think. Nice clean car. Don could not bring his GN because it was hit and he must rebuild it. Norm couldn't get his hands on Kokane Gold because it's a limited production beer! He did however do his best, going to 3 stores to find some. Watched a turbo supra go 9.06 sounded scary, made fun of the ricers, ate. All in all it was real good to get up there again. Next year your ass better make it!

Was a heckuva day.... we don't get many October days like that.

Was good to meet the new folks.... gotta love the Kokanee.

Got the GN to go 11.90 @111 with a 1.66 60. The MT Drag radials are the real deal.
Car was almost bracket consistent.

We'll shoot for having more pickups in the spring.

I'm trailering mine next year FOR SURE!!! I know I said I was gonna sell it about 100 times on Saturday, but the Syclone is like a REALLY hot girlfriend. No matter how bad she treats you the make up "ride" is sure worth it!!!!

Nice meeting you guys, sorry I didn't hang out more, but as you all know, I was pre-occupied with my supermodel.......hehehe

Dewey-

Try the bin here. It's done against 40s, if yours are 42s, it'll be a bit closer.

My bet that the Code is due to a bad knock sensor. I've had new ones go bad. Seems to happen a lot lately....

Had a good time even though my times were sad. And am glad my tools were used on others trucks and not my own.
But next season Norm and I agreed to both have good looking and running trucks. It was good meeting you guys and will see you around.

I'll give it a try when I figure out what is causing it to miss like that. It sure seemed to me to be a bad fuel injector....I have 2 other spares, so I might plug one in and give it a try (when I get some free time)

I'm gonna try the wire overlay trick that you suggested first and if that doesn't fix it I guess I'll throw a new KS at it....any tips to get at it easily......

and I'm gald you brought them. thanks for hookin me up, although you probably owed me at least that after taking me on a wild goose chase with $6.00 a gallon gas........hehehehe

You can test the knock sensor... take it out, hook the connector back up, and ground the body. (If you don't ground it, it'll throw the code).

If that doesn't work, try the same thing with a new one. If it still doesn't work, it's the wiring.

Do a quick compression check... I know you didn't want to hear that.
You'll have the peace of mind of knowing, once you do. It might have done something simple, like collapsed a lifter.
