Photoshoppage: Syclone/Skyline hybrid

I was bored a few months back, Decided to do a Syclone/Skyline hybrid idea after some fun thinking

my thought process goes as follows: Imagine a Syclone (normal sonoma based of course, I wouldnt rape a real one) with an RB26DETT, AWD, C5 Corvette rear suspention, and some Skyline esque bodystylings, like say the bumper.

So this is what I came up with:

I think the bumper accually fits well with these trucks
I've also recolored it black too:

I had that exact same vision for my front bumper. I was gonna use a GMC grille and scale it down to fit to carry on the continuity of the existing grille and get more air into the front for an intercooler. Very nice. Flip it around and do the rear also. Carry on the concept. I think this really follows the lines of the truck well.

I think it's a bit overdone personally... I like the theme though... perhaps cutting down on the total number of openings (I mean, I do see 6 on each side :lol: )

yes, I agree, the GN side scoops were on the original pic, and the side "brake vent" looks out of place

Not a fan of the fog light areas but it doesnt look that bad otherwise. Would be nice for a large IC thats for damn sure.

The first bumper is the "early" R34 Nismo bumper. The one on the Black car is a Z-Tune bumper. All the holes serve a purpose. From brake ducts, to oil coolers.

I did help out with an RB26 in a Mustang once...

LURKER !! :lol: ......Less is better IMHO. Loose the R34 running lamps,and oil cooler side vents... and maybe merge the lower two ducts . I think it would profile better for our bulky lines. :tup:
Jap and US lines are kinda weird together,really. :squint:

Im always blown away by some of the talent i see on the board
I may not get turned on by the idea.. but the skill involved to morph and rerender
is awsum !

Nismo aftermarkets, I got those off a Nismo Skyline R-Tune. I doubt they'll fit.

I just researched. Skylines run a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, and our trucks run 5x120.4 or something along those lines. Would work for a fr0d ranger X3

Yeah, those will fit Mazda,Ford and of course early 5 lug datsun nissan.
I've got 18x 13" 5x114.3's hanging on my Skyline drivetrain. Now if I just found the time to finish it all up.Geez. :roll:
You could always go with adapters....good ones, that is.
