All these pictures were take with my camara phone so there not %100 the best pics. but if this hotel is decided, I will take more pics with the digital camara. ( NOTHING LISTED HER IS 100% YET DATE TIME EXT..) But info is as follows.

Base guess on the date for next year June 20-22

King standard $95.00
Double queen $100.00
King study $110 ( includes Refrigerator, Microwave, & pullout couch.)
King Jacuzzi $150 ( includes Microwave, Refrigerator, & A really nice Jacuizzi)

All rates are before taxes ( 8%)
10% discount for Military. ETC.
all rooms include high-speed internet, business center, pool, sauna, work out room, & continental breakfast....
If we get enough people to co come we will all get A 10% discount on all out rooms.
Also in the back of the hotel there is A place were we could block off were no one else would be allowed & we could all park there.

If you look in the one pic there is A make shift (dragstrip) right behind the hotel.
Agin I will have the garage open to anyone that needs repairs ( 10 Min. away from hotel) just ask sy1177 LOL!

....Without being knowledgeable about that specific location, "typical" hotel questions might be:
-Is the vehicle security an issue (staffing, lighting, parking, theft, trailors, etc)
-Is a section availble for SyTy`s Only
-Is Parking a Trailer a problem (multiple spaces required)
-Is late night activity, or noise an issue with the hotel
-Is breakfast available
-Is multiple associated rooms available
-Is a registration area available
-Is there a "clean area" to wash, and/or clean up driven vehicles
-Is there "shaded" areas for vendors, chairs, tables, and layed back conversations
-Is their local facilities nearby (restaurants, car wash, etc)
-Would the hotel accept SyTy Advertising (banners, signs, etc)
-Is "meeting rooms" also available for vendors, guest lectures, talks/sessions
-Is the hotel easily accessible (from major routes/roads)

I once stayed at a hotel where once I pulled by truck/trailer into their lot, I could not
leave early that next day because the parking lot only had one prime entrance and
tourist parking did not leave enough space for me to maneuver. Hotel selection (IMHO)
is a big deal...with the SyTy Nat`s Hotel a very good example of what to look for...
location, SyTy Vehicle Friendly, laid back staffing, quality rooms, good food, and
good lighting, parking, security with grassy areas for group activities.

The secutrity issue is there is no isue, all the people that have car trailers can park @ Unlimited truck & trailer wicht has Security camars everywere & is lite up. Same as the hotel. We are working on have in A security gaurd for 2008 also. for fri. & Sat. night. (Unlimited truck & trailer is right behind the hotel).

Section in the back of the hotel as of right now is all ours, no drunk bitch in Ford rangers coming through.

Late night actives not A prob. / noise? As long as there no awd dognuts in the parking lot I don"t see A problum.

Continental breakefast @ hotel. I will provide everone with A list of resturants when you arrive.

Reg. (working on) will be in the banquit room of the hotel (pending)

Carwash is 1/8 mile from the hotel.

getting A huge tent for the vendors

got A 10'x20' banner if you know anyone that can letter it.

banquit room after Reg. will be avlalbe to all thet want to come inside & BS.

Hotel is right next to I-75 30 min. south of Detroit & 25 Min. north of Toledo.

yes larry there is more than enough room for you to get in & out.. Don"t worrie.

After all this being said you better make it & bring your truck in 2008. Larry & to all of you.

FYI "-long, -long ago" all of the Syty Colorado Members pre-assembled at McDonalds off I70
and joined up with the Western CA-TX Caravan headed to the SyTy KC Nationals.
We had lead/trailing Syty vehicles, walkie talkies, gps, and radar detectors to
make for a very exciting (and fast) trip. The early non-caravan KC Nationals arrivals "tracked"
all the caravans (North, South, East, West) via cellphone/computer-posting
which made for a GRAND Entrance. Dabney C was our local/Colorado caravan contact,
organizer.

thanks for the consideration mate - looks really interesting!

I am planning on vacationing sometime next year in the US so this could be a great chance for me to meet people and see some awesome trucks.

Sadly mine is getting totally stripped for a complete restoration (powdercoating chassis) 4L80E install and engine build ect etc. That added to the shipping costs to the US and I am afraid I will not be able to bring it, at least not this year :tup:

That said, I am keen to bring myself and was wondering what other info do you have? I guess my only concern is that it is such a long way for me to travel for only a Sat night or whatever it is so I would need to plan some other stuff around it to make it worthwhile.

When is the weekend likely to be and where is it being held?

Keep me in the loop and I'll see what I can do.

Also, will there be people there to sell stuff to me?!!

shooting for june'ish. agin. The hotel & show is in Monroe MI. 30 min. South of Detroit 25 Min. north of Toledo. Just off I-75 Show is @ unlimited truck & Trailer. Hotel is right in front of unlimited truck & trailer. NOTHING is set in concrete yet. Working on getting everything setup asap. so we can get the info passed out to everyone.
