"STOCK" Talon

Went and did some long awaited cruising this evening. This multi colored 2g Talon comes barreling up beside us and starts wanting to play. We got on it several times but seemed to be who ever got on it firsts' race. So I ask the guy what he has done and he says its all stock except intake and cat back. Right away I call bullshit because we had a Talon that was stockish and ran NOTHING like that. So I tell him lets hit a light or race when we hit an intersection from a roll. Outcome was different when we hit it at the same time. No doubt, the Ty pulled him and kept going, wasn't dieing off and putting good spaces on the guy.

This car was ugly and not a super fast car but the way it revved was obvious he had things done besides what he said. Still beat him though:lol:

I kinda miss my eclipse :-( but it kept breaking so I had to move to a more reliable vehicle. My Sy!!! :-D

We converted a AWD talon last year to RWD with 9" ladder bars/coil overs. It runs a 325/50/15 on the back. He just had it over here yesterday. I think the torqe converter he's got is too loose but it is neat!
He can get 5500RPM on the foot brake and 34lbs of boost sitting there. It's bitch'n.
He went 11.0's when it was AWD.
I think it'll run better now with less driveline loss and the ability to boost launch and no shifting.

did you pull the front driveline and call it good, or did you go full out and turn the engine 90 degrees and fabricate a drivetrain?
