holy old sig for me. Sold that car a while ago, in favor of another turbo piece of crap, just RWD platform this time .... 72 Pinto with a turbo 2.3 and a 5 speed. Omni's were fun, i miss it dearly, it was soooo clean .....

Mileage is 200k. Bought the truck with 160k on it. Spent 6 months till i found the right truck. Reg cab 4x4 diesel 6 speed manuals arent that easy to come by that haven't been used as a work truck. Bought this from i believe the 2nd owner, truck was used to tow his pop up camper up and down the east coast. Truck has never had a 5th wheel hitch installed. Lots of highway miles. Looked like this....

Black Cloud Diesel Plug and play headlight harness
05+ Factory Black (painted) Grill

Tymar Intake
Banks 3" stainless downpipe
Banks 4" straight back exhaust ( no cat no muffler)
Cut up a set of banks duals and made them dump over the axle
BDS 6" springs front and rear ( lifetime warranty)
BDS 3" front hanger kit
Total of 9" of lift
Edelbrock Reservoir shocks ( dual up front single in the rear)
Pro comp front dual shock Hoops
Fabtech Adjustable Trac bar
Skyjacker Extreme drop pitman arm
Pro comp Dual steering stabilizer
Brand new 38x14.50x16 Toyo Open Country Mud terrains
16x12 Weld cheyenne 8 wheels
Took the factory bench out in favor of 60/40 split bucket with center console
Upgraded to Towing mirrors
Aftermarket Power windows
Kenwood Indash Double din DVD player
Ford racing boost gauge
Turbo rebuilt at 190k miles, Gutted exhaust back pressure valve and upgraded compressor wheel installed
new balljoints at 180k
Im sure theres more im missing.
Truck needs odds and ends. It's been an ongoing project for me. Seat that i put in is dark blue, truck interior is grey. Needs reupholstered or seat covers. Its such an improvement over the bench i havent cared about the color to be honest. Front driveshaft isnt in the truck, havent had it in since its been lifted to prevent me from doing anything stupid. The truck HAS NEVER BEEN OFFROAD. I have other toys to do that with, all its been is my tow rig. This is not your typical lifted truck thats been used and abused. Oil changed every 4k miles. Could use an alignment. Just little stuff here and there. Etc.
Been throwing around the idea of just outright selling it and buying a syclone, but a trade would make it easier. If i list it locally it would bring 12k or so. I have the title in hand.
Heres some more pics. You can see the progress to where it is now.
Again, not looking to trade for a mint syclone. Just something in similar condition. Ive wanted a Sy since geez i registered here in 03 i believe. Any more pics or info let me know. I wouldnt hesitate to drive this to CA and back.

It's a good looking truck, and pretty much what I am looking for right now. Only problem is that I drive ~60k a year, which would give me a 400k truck in just 2 or 3 years.

Wow, I guess the Omni isn't the ugliest thing to ever have a turbo in it :rotf:

Yea i couldnt bring myself to build something that actually looks good. Its lighter then the omni and RWD, so i cant complain. What mods are done to your omni? Before i sold mine i was gathering all the stuff for a 2.4 DOHC / a568 combo.

Rebuilt T2 & A555, 3" mandrel bent side exit exhaust, AFPR, Warlbro, 20% injectors, T2 intercooler, mandrel bent intake track, 1st gen DSM BOV, solid dog bone, poly filled mounts, FWD performance ECU, manual boost controller. It's down for now because I did a turbo swap and there isn't enough tension on the WG spring :roll: (10 psi sucks).
Mods to be done on the 2nd pull apart in 100 miles are ported exhaust manifold, 3" SV, 3 BAR calibration, and a WB O2 sensor. :tup:
Shooting for high 12's on street tires, low 12's on slicks. The run in my sig had a lack luster 2.2 sec 60' and it wasn't holding boost right (12 PSI in lower gears, eventually hitting 16 PSI at the top of 4th).
