Well, I thought I'd give everyone a heads up. If you haven't autocrossed before, and have been interested, I'll be running an Autocross Novice School this weekend (Sunday to be exact). $25 to drive all day with instruction. See www.bscc.net for info.

Re: WA guys - autocrossing anyone?

New season starts this weekend. This Sunday, Feb. 18th, BSCC is hosting it's first practice event of the year. I got suckered into being the President of the club for the next two years. Anyway, the practice event is ran just like a normal championship series event, with the exception, that both morning and afternoon run groups will be open to any class, and no points will be rewarded toward championship standings.

Price is $25 for members, $30 for non-members. Plus there's a $5 discount for preregistering. You can visit www.bscc.net for information what you'll need. Or you can just ask me. The preregister link is located on the event info link on the schedule. Or I guess I can just post it here:

Any questions, feel free to ask me.

I'll also add that on Sunday, March 11th, we'll have our first of two autocross schools available. And the following weekend on Sunday, March 18th will be our first championship series event.

Since I probably won't have my car done for at least the majority of the year, I'll be out there in the Syclone until then. Anyone's free to come out and race, or just watch. There's no entry fee into the site. So spectators don't need to pay.

I've wanted to get into autocrossing and am interested in going to one of your classes since I've never done it before ( the 11th is out since I'm going to Vegas, when is your second class? )

I mapquested it and it's about a 2.5 hour drive for me from Portland so I wouldn't have a problem coming up a couple times a year.

October 13th will be the second school. We usually hold one at the beginning and the end of the season.

ivanko barbell does this as well. He's gonna have a different setup than everyone else but he's done it before and would be a wealth of information.
