I'm looking for a stock Radio with the wires to install it. My Typhoon spent most of it's life in Japan.Someone removed the stock radio and made a mess of the Stock Wiring. If anybody has a solution I'm Game. I've got an after market radio in the dash but it looks like crap

Re: Belt tensioner bouncing?? Took your advice. Replaced both pullys. Helped some. Maybe I'm being to critical. Some of the local mechanics say the bounce isn't excessive. Thnx for the advice.

Re: High performance front brakes I'm still looking for answers, but I've put on a set of ceramic pads with cross drilled and slotted rotors. Didn't cost much and it is a starting point. I'll let you know how it works out.

Re: idle I did the same thing. I replaced every vacuum hose on the car. It helped alot, but nmot with the tensioner pully bouncing. Thnx for the help.

Re: idle Good thought. The idle is a little rough. However the pully bounce is constant through 1500 to 2000 rpm. I'm puzzeled.

Re: Belt tensioner bouncing?? Thats strange on the pully setup in your picture the plastic pully w/ the spokes is an idler pully and the metal pully is the tensioner pully. on my TY the idler pully is the metal one and the tensioner is the plastic one w/ the spokes. Do you think it makes any...

Re: Belt tensioner bouncing?? The Idler pully looks good I didn't replace it. It's smooth and has no flat spots, no radial play. everything I look at looks good. Looks like I'll have to put a dial indicatoe on all the pullys. Can you think of anything else?

Re: Belt tensioner bouncing?? Nothing squeeks. I've had the AC compressor tested. Checked the Power steering pump and there is no play in the Alternator pully. Removing the fan makes no differance.

I've replaced the water pump on my TY while I was at it I replaced the Belt, Belt tensioner and pully. The tensioner pully bounces. The folks at the local radiator shop suggested the belt was too long. I replaced it with one an inch shorter. Some improvement, but it bounces more that belt...
