So I"m trying to figure out where the hissing is coming from. When the A/C is on, it blows nice and cold. When I turn it off the A/C there is a hissing that is constantly making noise, while the engine is running. Not sure if that's a sign of low freon, a vaccuum leak or an A/C part going...

Finally! After years of driving with the stupid Antilock and brake lights on, the lights finally burned out on the dash...I have been waiting for this day to happen...Merry Christmas to me.

I am trying to check the timing on my truck and I can seem to reach down to the timing marker near the crank to clean it off or my eyes just aren't so good anymore. I can see the timing marks but what I think says 8* could be a 0*. It has like three teeth on the marker that zig zags...does...

So, I just did my first datamaster scan and since I'm new at it, I really don't understand all the data entirely. Would someone on here be willing to look at it and translate it for me? I'm a little confused with some of it. I don't know how to post the .uni on here so if you don't mind, I'll...

I am trying to set up my datamaster and when I get to the Serial Data Acquisition, I go to TRY and select a COM port and it won't let me choose. It's automatically selected at none selected. What's going on with it? Help please....

Does anyone know if there is a scan tool, such as Datamaster, that the software comes on a flash card. I want to install the software into a netbook computer, which doesn't have a drive, only USB ports. Thanks in advanced. BB

Re: Fuel Pump Question I can't say thank you enough for sending me that link. I think from start to finish it took me about 2.5 hours to take out my fuel pump and put in a Walbro. Definitely the way to go by tipping the bed at an angle. So, thank you again for making my life a little easier.

I just went to start my truck and it wants to turn over and then doesn't then, I finally got it running and it died out. I just changed my fuel filter and it was horrible. So, I'm thinking my fuel pump is probably shot now too. Two questions, and I know this one varies from truck to truck...
