    CV Boots...

Lynn, I've only changed out boots, axles on '81 and '90 Honda civics. never attempted SyTy's, heh........THOSE were easy to access, easy to remove, regrease. I've never used worm gear/screw clamps on boots but as long as they don't interfere with rotation...well I'd worry about the...

    CV Boots...

Lynn, I believe most boot kits, and most "factory installed", if not all, have the narrower band clamp which you can pry loose or crimp tight with "end cutters". I guess if the bands are carefully removed the boots can be moved away from joint making room for you to pack grease. Reinstall...

    cv boots....

My attempted search on these went UGLY. My original outer ones are starting to rip/leak. All 4 of 'em are the ORIGINAL at 127k miles. I'd LOVE to replace all 4 with ORIGINAL material/style ones and not the crappy/cheap auto part store replacements. CarParts.com lists: FWD Shaft...

    quick question about pcv

I would think blowby depends on how worn the rings are...given that, more boost press. = more blowby...a little oil is o.k. depending on how much U can tolerate.

    Accufab AFPR leak...

Yeah Mike, I'm thinkin' of getting a somewhat similar set (w/fewer bits) off ebay. I also e-mailed Accufab for info. Lynn, my return-line o-ring's outer diameter was crushed but inner dia. was okay :-? ...hmmm...dunno if fuel sprayed from bottom of reg. to upper half of body? Thinkin' back...

    Accufab AFPR leak...

Smelled raw fuel at start up. Check around and see the area near the SPECIAL Torx screws, on the forward half of Accufab is wet. Sure enough...fuel leak. Thought it could be disassembled...WRONG! The pins in the SPECIAL Torx screws have pins preventing the Torx insert/tool from entering the...

    Rear sway bars..

FYI FYI I've got a Hellwig rear sway bar on my Sy but It'll only fit up good, without interference if ya have a single 3" exhaust 'cuz it's how mine fit up. It has U-bolts which attach the bar to the rear-end's tubing on either side of the center/diff. It sits ABOVE the rear and the brackets...

    Window Motor

You have to remove the motor/bracket/gear as an assembly first. Once you drill out the door's rivets, the assembly comes right out. The instructions/"How To" is pretty much straightforward and just drill the hole once the brackets are lined-up like the picture. If the brackets aren't lined up...
