Thanks Trevor, So 7.5 % xylene (1.5gal) mixed with 90 octane fuel nets 92ish octane based on 20 gallon tank capacity.

I only have about a month and a half before I put it away for the winter. Just need to get some help with xylene in the mean time. I don't have the money for an alky kit anyways.

If you still have access to the connector, hold on to it and wiggle the switch up and down and see if it comes on in any of the three positions. Also, back off the connector from the switch a little bit and try it again.

I had a similar problem with my blower motor as well. I changed out the switch in the dash and seemed to work fine for a while then stopped again. It would occasionaly work in certain positions then stop again. I eventually took out the switch and added a small drop of solder to the contacts and...

WAY too much work to convert back to IM legal. You wouldn't want to drive it in the winter anyways :)

It is street legal Tim. You just can't drive it year round
