BG said if i unplug the wastegate actuator that it would run an ungodley amount of boost but since there is a leak and it was not building somewhere near 30 lbs of boost and it was under stock that it would be ok until i fixed the leak.

As long as there is not shifter cable on the diff. it is fine I swapped mine out for one outta 84 4x4 after I rebuilt it of course but they are all the same with a few minor differences.

Well i followed the directions exactly on resting the computer and it runs great now! No detonation! Idle is f***ing awesome. Still have the pitbull but I don't know it's runnin great! I guess I should have reset the computer after doing the tuneup and tec! I'll let you know how things...

can't you just unplug the sensor or whatever that the vac lines go into to disable the egr?
