You can get Moog parts from Summit or Rockauto.com. CarQuest also sells Moog parts re-packaged as CarQuest units. CarQuest is normally more expensive from what I have seen.

I don't believe that gasket is needed. My stock turbo did not have one when it was removed and I don't have one currently.

I would say you need some back pressure to spool up faster. The lag will definitely be noticeable on the street. A stock set-up feels very responsive from a slow roll (up to maybe 25-30 MPH) if you were to go to the floor with it. A larger turbo will not be this way, very slow for boost to come...
