Re: Connecting rods? Crankshaft? stock rods came in the TBI 160hp motors. they are not strong enough for stock syty hp levels. if you rebuild a syty motor and reuse them you are wasting time and money. buy something better.

Re: Turbo ID stock is 8 but a 10 will fit with not mods. only way to tell is look inside the scroll of the turbine housing. 12 and 14 require a different turbine wheel (H) as they are larger and bigger.

Re: Dropping trans w. transfer case? hard 1-2 is normal. do not mess with it. change the fluid with some good dex 3 and let it go. if it's been forever since it's been done, swap the pans so you can do it again in a week and get most of it swapped over to fresh stuff. If you don't like...

Re: Dropping trans w. transfer case? don't try it. and don't use any shift kit on the syty VB. the stock setup is beyond any shift kit you can buy. it your truly stock LHM syty trans is shifting soft it's not because of the VB.
