THANK MY LUCKY STARS IT WASN'T MINE!!!!! Mine slept quietly in the garage. Abe's TY and my wife's were both broken in to. I guess they weren't "broken" in to since the doors were unlocked but someone went in there and screwed up a bunch of things. I went to get in to my Silverado and the door was locked, when I turned around I saw my wife's tailgate and glass opened and Abe's doors wide open. My stomach sank because I had recently installed the gauges, wideband, all that stuff and all I could think was that someone ripped them off. So i go look inside and all they did was throw things around, they pulled some wiring down for the alarm (it didn't go off because the battery is dead and unhooked) they also broke the tail gate lock for some reason. In the wife's Ty they took the face off the stereo and put it under the seat, they cut the mic for the bluetooth and just threw papers everywhere. They also threw my trash cans all over the place. Hope I catch the little bastards. I know it was kids because anyone else would have stolen everything. My wife is PISSED!!! Of course it is all my fault because I don't lock the doors. But I always say, would you rather have a missing stereo or broken windows and a missing stereo? I guess now I have to go buy her an alarm today but I told her that sometimes (depending on the crook) if an alarm goes off they will do something bad to the car instead before they run off. I want to see if we can get a motion light out there that makes a beep when it is set off. That would be pretty cool.
