I was searching through some treads the other day and came across one of his and where he had cut up the vortec head showing where to port,how much, and the thinkness of the wall and everything. I just sat back and remembered his post the he used to write and the informative information that would be contained in them.

He was a great person and helped me with some of my problems when i first got on the board.
David you will be missed by many. RIP

Hopefully some good has come out of this and we all triple check to make sure things are secure before we crawl under a vehicle. I know I'm hesitant to get under a vehicle now unless it has 2 sets of jackstands holding it up.

I didn't ever get a chance to you. But i remember the late night chats and stuff well before i was a solid member of this community. He was one of the reason i always wanted a sy. His demeanor in the chat room seemed like he always had a great out look on life and never really got down about anything.

I have learned from this accident aswell. I even got scolded for having the rear of my truck on cinder/cement blocks when doing a t-case rebuild. I was just having a blond moment when i did that knowing that david lost his life doing aboutt the same thing.

If you've got a manual tranny car, also MAKE SURE you disconnect the battery if it's up on jackstands.... shorting the starter solenoid against anything can cause the vehicle to rock off of the stands if the car is in gear!

R.I.P:myclone: i know i double and triple check all of my jackstands before crawling under...even put the jack under the frame just touching......just in case..... myclone forever!!!!

At some point I managed to chop his head onto a guy that had been noodling, he got quite the kick out of it, I have been looking for a copy of it for a while now...

It sucks that his mistake causes us to be more careful working under vehicles. We should all be careful from the start and if only he had been careful we still would be lucky to have him around. RIP :myclone:

Yesterday was very hard. I got up and thought two years ago he was here and life was wonderful. I am honored that you still thought of him. He was a smart, handsome wonderful man. I was truly blessed to have him in my life. He showed me what real love was. Miss him so much.
