Accel ECM ?

I have an Accel computer in my Ty. I do not have the manual, and called Accel and found out that they don't make this item anymore and don't even have any remaining info on them.

Does anyone else have this computer on their SyTy ? And if so, do you have a manual that I could get a copy of ? If there is no info available, maybe I have to go back to a different ECM or a stock one w a reprogrammed PROM chip.

OK, will get one.

Lets see if I can learn how to upload pics. I just have 2 pics of the ECM mounted under the dash. Maybe I need to pull it out to find the model # ? I see I need a URL link. So I need to upload the pics to the internet. Not sure how to do this. I don't have a website.

OK I see someone put in links to Gen 6 & 7 for this ECM - I'll try that.

OK thanks alot - VERY helpful. I have copied both the Gen 6 & 7 manuals. Now how do I know which one I have ? I don't see anything on the mounted box. Maybe if I pull it out it shows somewhere ?

Most of the older Accel Gen 6 ECM's are silver and will look like this. Some are black. If you look underneath the box there will probably be a decal with the model number.

The newer Accel Gen 7 DFI will look like this.
