Adam and I were talking about that.....He is going to caravan w/o the tampa guys and go down the othe coast.But I'm up for a cruise w/ everyone down i75 S :tup:

I'm trying to get one of my old trucks (Sy #2596) to come down. It is currently owned by a longtime friend of mine who doesn't follow the internet forums. Truck was recently repainted due to some minor cosmetic damage suffered during Hurricane Wilma, and its looking sharp. It has a rebuilt stock block with all the usual goodies (Eagle rods, Speedpro 2441 pistons, Crane cam, etc.), ported L35 heads, Mitsu TD06H 20G 14cm, big liquid IC, Ultimate chip with 50 pounders, yada yada yada. It might be for sale, too.

My original Sy (#2648) is still in pieces, but I might swing by in the FRC 'Vette again...I added a few more goodies since you last saw it, including ported LS6 heads and a nice Comp cam. I'd better bolt on the Mickey Thompson drag radials before I come down so I can hang with the AWD crowd ;)

Rob lives! Come on down and get the truck here too. I can't promise as much fun on the ride as last year but it'll be good to get caught up.

It was a 12.7 car when you last saw it. The Mickey Thompson drag radials put it into the 12.3's...they hook good, but not SyTy good ;) I did the heads and cam, along with a few more bolt-ons last month...still playing with the computer to get the tune-up just right, but it probably picked up 100+ additional horsepower. It's a night and day difference compared to before. (It won't hook at all anymore in 1st or 2nd gears on the regular street tires.) I've probably got enough old nitrous parts laying around to piece togather a kit for it, too...I'm just afraid the original stock clutch wouldn't like living between that much power and those sticky tires. If the weather is nice tomorrow, I might take it up to Moroso to try out the new mods.

man, you ran me hard last time out... although, racing from an 80+mph roll on the vette has all the advantage, i didnt have a chance in hell :tup:

Thanks for the invite. I'll try to be there Friday, but Saturday for sure. Trying to get my father to buy a Syclone we found together before the meet(maybe he'll trade me for my Typhoon :thumbsup: ), but we'll see.

I met someone on the road the other day in my ty. He has a syclone and some grand nationals, wants a ty. I told him about syty.net and the annual meet coming up. Maybe someone already knows him? Hopefully he'll be there trying to buy a ty

Any interest in an AWD dyno session? One just opened about 6 blocks from my house. I can find out pricing to do a few trucks.
