Anybody still selling front prop-shaft bolts?

HI folks,

Is anybody still selling upgraded/hardened bolts for the front prop shaft? I emailed Mike a coupla mos. ago and he said that he no longer sells them.

He thought he might be able to round up one last set but never got back to me so I assume he could not.

Thanks for your input.

Best,

Re: Anybody still selling front prop-shaft bolts?

Oops! Sorry seems like we had a little mix up... I couldn't put together a full set since I was missing two of the rear bolts when you contacted me back in August. I told you that I was going to order some more to make up a set. I forgot to PM you when I got them later that week and I never heard anything from you. I just figured that you got what you needed from Fastenal instead when I didn't get notification from PayPal that you had paid me for them . I can do $25 shipped with the tube of 242 LocTite or $20 without.

Re: Anybody still selling front prop-shaft bolts?

To all the interested parties, your hardware was shipped out this morning, 2/1/2014. Everyone should have their parcels by mid week at the latest. At the time of shipping, I could not locate my "instruction tag" that I include with my hardware. I found them later after I got back from the post office :

"Removal of the stock bolts will require an E12 socket for the front and an E14 socket for the rear. Bolts may be EXTREMELY tight! Heat or impart capability may be required for removal. Make sure truck is FULLY supported!

Degrease the bolts and mounting flanges with brake cleaner or a similar product.

Apply 2 drops of Loctite threadlocker to each bolt. Install the 17mm bolts on the front and torque to 75 Nm or 55 ft. lbs. Install the 19 mm bolts on the rear and torque to 125 Nm or 92 ft. lbs."

As of now, I am out of hardware and will have to order more since I have to order them in boxes of 25 bolts. One member purchased two sets of bolts. I just issued you a shipping refund in the amount of $6.15. It wasn't twice the price to ship you two sets. Therefore, I don't expect you to have pay twice as much for shipping ;)... Thanks everyone :)!

Re: Anybody still selling front prop-shaft bolts?

Yep, $25 shipped with Loctite or $19 shipped without the Loctite. As you can see, it's a decent sized tube that can be used for other things in the garage or around the house.

When I shipped to the member above, the clerk at the post office told me that it would be $17 to ship first class international. Which was MUCH cheaper than the $54 price I was quoted online... Shipping overseas with the USPS don't get crazy expensive as long as you stay under four pounds. It is usually $6 to ship these here stateside. I could get these to you in about a week for $36 shipped.

Your hardware was shipped out today, 2/24/14. Euros are worth more than our dollar so, you overpaid. I have issued you a refund to make up for the difference... Thanks for your business :D!
