wait I never offered 4k , thats was top dollar if I was buying I would have to get it for 2k to be able to make money on it , the parts are good money yes WHEN they sell and its not that often. I have too many spare parts as it is

Dont panic Ken...I edited my post :lol: . Besides, neither of those trucks make the "meep meep" noise so you dont want em anyways.

I agree that the parts are good money but the seller doesnt want to go through parting them (understandable since it is a PIA) but every gear head I know is well aware of the fact that to get top dollar like the seller wants aint gonna happen if a wrecked/rotted vehicle is sold whole.

The math is simple:
Part one out=maybe making a few bucks.
Sell a wrecked or rotted one whole=losing your ass unless you got the vehicle for pennies to begin with.

! I LOVE when someone brings up a truck that they are looking at or going to look at and several folks give a DETAILED description of it. Simply because they have either seen it for themselves and/or know the history of it. A seller claims that he never said something only to have his email posted proving otherwise. I don't care who you are, that's a funny joke right there

We look after or own around here for the most part... Bottom line is you can BS someone who ISN'T a member of this community. However, coming on here and telling us what something is worth on OUR trucks is laughable. You don't think that a forum of nothing but owners and want to be owners knows what the fair market value of something that we enjoy so much is? PLEASE

... I'm guessing someone on here alerted the seller to this thread. If so, I would reconsider any dealings with him since everyone knows his true colors now.

It was me, in case anyone doesnt have common sense to realize we're from the same area. and i find it funny that "people" use subtleties. This guy has had Ty's since ive known him. So his rep. with me is good.

I would like to know how its not worth 4000 and to the person saying I said 7000 for both ur wrong. I believe I said somewhere around 5500 or 6000. yes the body is shot but there is alot of parts left on that typhoon that u cant get anymore. We had the typhoon sold for 4000 but the buyer got into legal problems. Tryin to sell both typhoons for 6500 is a pretty good deal to me. I mean u get 2 typhoons that comes with alot of parts to build one and to have axtra stuff left over. We built a 1991 Syclone before that was an engine fire and I know between the dash, dash wiring, engine wiring, hood, radiator, 2 cladding peices, and a few other peices we had around 3500.00 in parts. Unless there is someone out there reproducing these parts just like GM did then u can say Im nuts but being they aint and all these parts are GM parts. I would have to say were not asking for an arm and a leg. But then there are people out there who thinks parts should be for free. Also I hate to break the news to some of u but I bet about 75% of the syclones and typhoons are rusting like crazy under there cladding.

There is nothing on either of those trucks that is hard to get. (well,if the white one has a passenger side rear corner cladding,then I stand corrected)

IMO it would be best for you to sell those trucks piece by piece.

Oh yeah,there is no way in hell 75% of trucks have rot.I've seen quite a few,and maybe 1 out of 10 is crusty.
