If I ever remove our trans, I'm stepping up to a higher stall. Our engine doesnt come alive until about 3K, then it pulls to about 5500. I would assume a 3200 stall would be best?

Is that a stock converter in your trans right now? Also i noticed you have a V8 in it, does the same stalls aply to the V8s?

I've got a Yank nitrous/blower LS1 converter. A custom "Pro Yank Extreme", look on their website it cost almost a grand. I told them the specs on my truck and that I wanted 2700-2900 stall, and if anything a little on the tight side, and that's exactly what they gave me. It drives nice and does NOT wind out ridiculous RPM at WOT with high boost, which is more than I can say for the handful of datamaster files I've collected over the years from some people with the "9/11 2800". There are some older threads where the 9/11 was a crap shoot; sometimes you got what you wanted; sometimes it stalled to 4000.

Anyways the point is, Yank is not a company to be afraid of. Although my converter was manufactured in late 2004 and is a 10.5", the one in the ebay auction was made in 2000 and appears to be a completely different design.
